Our experience was both very disappointing and wonderful in the same evening. I do hope the restaurant sees this and others give feedback. First, we were lucky to get to the door. There is disabled parking 1/2 block away. It’s is infront of another business and was totally clean and shoveled of snow. Once Pip/pals was reached, no snow removal done at all. Walker/person basically carried to the restaurant. So much for accessibility. We had reservation and first thing they said was “You have to be out in 2 hrs, there’s a reservation after you.” Wow, feeling super welcome so far. Probably would have left if it hadn’t been so hard to get there. Then our experience changed. We had the most lovely and attentive waitress. We had several good dishes but the duck cassoulet was one of the most complex and comforting dishes I have ever had, especially for a cold night. We were took our time, had several course and were still out before the next reservation. I hope management pays heed, we barely got to enjoy the food due to the lack of hospitality before we sat down.

Pip was the perfect spot for dinner before our show. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend :)

Very interesting and unique selection of menu items to choose from. Very good selection of wines and other beverages, and staff is very responsive and helpful.

We waited 45 min after our appetizers arrived for the main course. When the entrees arrived they were cold. Service was good, but food was not great value for money.

Lovely place. Date night vibes. Unfortunately if it’s busy, service appears to suffer. Long waits for drinks- appetizers arrived first. And glassware shouldn’t be an issue. But since they have an entire section of the menu dedicated to SPARKLING, one would expect a flute to best enjoy the aroma, taste, and of course bubbles. Alas- not a flute in the joint. Oversight? Perhaps. Room for improvement. But the food? Definitely fantastic.

Food was great. Service was good. Staff was friendly. Only gripe, it took a while for our main courses to come out. Not a big deal, but we had a time limit on our table. Other than that, I will definitely go back.

Wonderful meal! Informed staff shared reliable info about the menu. Atlantic salmon and the trimmings was first rate!!
