                                                                              Pip is great. They make very tasty food and the service is fantastic. It is not the place you want to go to have a conversation as it can get loud (for my old ears anyway). This is a must try in Edmonton.

                                                                              I hate leaving a negative review for a local restaurant, but my last two experiences at Pip have been far from what I’ve come to expect. Tonight, my boyfriend and I went for our monthly date night, and unfortunately the experience was very underwhelming. As a big fan of Pip, I was really looking forward to a great meal, but the night fell short. While our server was kind and checked in with us, the service overall was very slow. It took 45 minutes for our appetizer and main courses to arrive, and our appetizer—just a simple order of olives—was forgotten and brought out at the same time as our mains. The food itself was okay, but at $30+ per dish, it felt lacking in flavor and creativity. To make matters worse, the olives weren’t comped despite the mistake which was disappointing. We left the restaurant feeling not only let down but also with upset stomachs immediately after the meal. It was such a disappointing experience overall, especially as someone who used to love this spot. I’m hoping this was just a one-off issue, but sadly I won’t be returning anytime soon.

                                                                              Excellent location. Shows/bars/activities close by. Parking available. Friendly, professional, quick staff (5:00PM seating). Food tasty and good-sized portions. Unique variety. Not a 5/5 because: ~cost of appetizers/entrees significant. Not necessarily a Pip issue. Same experience in most local restaurants, but does cause me questions if it's worth $35 to go out for an entree. ~noise level high, but that's usually the case with his space and it means they're busy!

                                                                              Amazing service, every bite was delicious, and the atmosphere feels luxe and romantic and yet the prices are not crazy high. I enjoyed every dish and cocktail I tried immensely.

                                                                              We loved our experience at Pip and it was our first time! Only downsides were we found the food a bit salty, and the room was a bit darker than it needed to be. Otherwise the food was delicious and service was great.

                                                                              Great venue, super friendly and efficient staff at reception. table waiting staff are impeccably on point - pleasant helpful and attentive but not intrusive. Food and drinks offerings are excellent. Food excellent quality, promptly served and fresh. Lovely coffee and water is automatically offered. Menu simple but outstanding, salad exquisite, entrees are wonderful. Dessert list looks good. Alcoholic drinks list is very good in terms of prices and choices.
