As you step into the charming brick building, you're greeted by the words "OPEN SESAME," welcoming you into the Home of the Original Sesame Seed Crust Pizza, pioneered by Pietro himself in 1976. Indulge in a dining experience within one of three uniquely distinct atmospheres. Choose from our retro-style front dining room, the exposed brick of the main dining area featuring beautiful artwork, or the serene whimsical outdoor patio adorned with red and white hanging umbrellas, lush palm trees, and vibrant red planters filled with gorgeous plants, and outdoor personal igloos, creating a private party space offering an enchanting experience.

    ⏰ Time Slot Guidelines: Each igloo reservation is designed to ensure efficient turnover and accommodate all our guests: Parties of 2-3 guests: 1.5-hour maximum time slot. Parties of 4 or more guests: 2-hour maximum time slot. 🌟 Weekend Minimum: From Fridays to Sundays, 4 PM to close, there is a $200 minimum for dining. This policy helps us meet high demand and maintain a premium experience for all. We appreciate your understanding! ✨ Intimate Yet Spacious: Our cozy igloos provide the perfect ambiance for your group, comfortably seating 8 to 10 guests.

    We had an absolutely amazing experience at Pietro’s. The food was so good that we kept eating after being full because it was just too good to not! I got a “Pop-Secco” and it was refreshing and delicious. All of the staff was friendly, helpful, and happy to be there. The igloos were beautifully decorated, but we would also recommend dining inside—can’t go wrong either way. We tell all our friends and family about Pietro’s and will always come back! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

    The igloos were cute, but they were freezing because the heat wasn’t working. The food was just eh, nothing special.

    I’m sorry you felt cold in the igloo. Our heaters were working, but when it’s as low as 2° outside as it was that evening, it can still feel chilly. Regarding the Rigatoni Vodka and garlic knots, they’re usually big favorites—perhaps they seemed “just eh” if you were hoping for something more adventurous. If you stop by again, on a warmer night, I’d love to help you pick a dish that better suits what you’re craving! Best, Lauren

    Igloo was too small for party of 10. No hard liquor just been and wine. Food got mixed reviews. Meatballs and pasta were good. Chicken franceise not great.

    Dear Mr. Siegel, We’re disappointed to hear your feedback but must address a few points. Our igloos are ideal for 8 guests, with 10 being a bit cozier. The scene created over us not serving hard liquor, pressuring staff for free wine, speaking to our busboy as if he didn’t speak English (when his English is perfect), and being rude to our server—such as telling her to “count the chairs” when she asked how many more guests were arriving—was unacceptable. In the end, the additional guests never arrived. We welcome honest feedback but stand by our hardworking team, who go above and beyond to provide a great experience for all.     Great food!!!!!! We have been to the igloo experience twice now and have enjoyed both times. Would like to sit inside next time. Their pizzas are amazing. So are their wings!! And the calamari is also a favorite.

    Amazing food and amazing service. Every single employee we came into contact with was so welcoming. The igloo we ate in was so cozy and peaceful. My 4 year old loved it too.

    Everything was good. I would say it is a little overhyped. Thought the popseco would have a flare to it but it just tasted like Prosecco. The food was okay nothing special the wings were really good. My husband didn’t really like the buffalo chicken pizza because the blue cheese was just blobbed on randomly like a big pile and it wasn’t all around

    We're glad to hear you enjoyed the ambiance, service and the wings, but we're sorry to hear that some aspects of your visit didn’t meet your expectations. Our Pop-secco is a simple twist—Prosecco served with a popsicle—and, due to New York liquor license laws, it’s the only way we’re able to offer it. As we are located within 200 feet of several religious organizations, including churches and a mosque. We appreciate your comments about the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and will review its presentation to see how we can improve the experience. We do make our bleu cheese in-house, which might make it a bit tricky to serve differently, but we’ll certainly look into it! Your input helps us grow, and we truly value it. Thank you for visiting!

    We had the igloo experience. The ambiance was perfect winter/ Christmas decor. Food was delish as always. Our server Erica was very sweet. Food came quick and was very hot, which was great since we were in the igloo.

    We enjoyed the igloo experience. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and the igloo was comfortably cozy. The popsicle prosecco drinks were delightful and the food and service were AMAZING! This was a birthday dinner and I couldn't have asked for my night to be more perfect.
