Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. I had a reservation for 7:30. When I checked in at 7:30 she said it would be a few minutes. I saw multiple people being brought to their tables, most of them came in after me. After 25 min, I had to ask again and it took another 10 minutes to finally get to the table. No apologies were offered. It felt to me like they forgot I was there waiting. The food was okay. I didn't like my pizza too much, but the other 2 guests with me liked theirs. The Chianti was great. The service was slow, and it was very loud. Mostly my bad experience was from the long wait and no offer of apology.

So this 5 star is only if you have a Cooper’s hawk membership which I 100% recommend! My wife and I always come here and grab a bottle or 2 of wine. We also use our tastings to get a glass of wine each with dinner. So we really don’t leave here spending more than $65 or so after tip and tax so the value is amazing! I loved the spaghetti carbonara AND the cacio E Pepe. My wife likes the pizza and she gets the vodka rigatoni (minus the sausage cause she’s vegetarian). The vibe is so nice! You can come in semi fancy clothes or fancy clothes. It’s comfy. Staff is so nice too. I highly recommend dining here!

Service and wait staff were very good, speciality pasta good(could have been warmer. Pizza/wine selection very good. All and all, would definitely return!,

The chopped salad is delicious. All of the pizzas are so flavorful. My favorite is the arancini. Best I’ve ever had.
