Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. First time here. Did not know it was affiliated with Cooper’s Hawk, which we are members of. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful on a very, very busy night. Service was great. It was a pleasant dinner delicious. All four of us got something different and we all tried each other‘s, and it was magnificent. Don’t live close to here so don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon, but if there was another one closer to where we live. We would definitely visit quite often.

Food is always so darn good !! The Arugula salad is amazing !! The short Ribs are fall apart in your mouth amazing ! I LOVE this place !!!

Very disappointed with our visit. The pizza came out cold so we asked if they could do something. So they said they would make a new one and that one was cold. We ordered a Caesar salad and got a chopped salad. We let the server know and they apologized and brought out a Caesar and took away the untouched chopped salad. When we got he bill, we were charged for both the wrong salad and the right salad. Was too bad because usually the staff and restaurant are on their game… We will try again in a few months.

Just want to state that this was our second time there and only came back because we had a terrible experience the first time and management reached out to make it right. Service was much better this time but there is still an issue with getting drinks in a timely manner. We got seated and waited 6 minutes before our sever came by and took our drink order which is fine. After a few minutes she came back and took our order for an appetizer. The appetizer came out and we were almost done before the drinks showed up and were brought out by someone else. The food and drinks were all great and our server was as well. I guess we’d have to be specific and ask for drinks first before any food is brought out. Over all a much better experience however it’s not the best place to try and have a conversation since it’s very loud and tables are very close to each other.

I am in a master club member. Not that that matters. But we had to actually ask for water. They did not clear plates at all unless we ask them. Service was poor. it was very loud. Nobody really checked on us. Not sure if I’m coming back.
