The heritage of Italian culinary art at Piazza Italiana starts with the Sicilian-born chef Remo Mazzucato and his experience of over 50 years across the world. Nestled in the former telling room of British Linen Bank with the interior restored to its original design from 1902.

Piazza Italiana brings the ambience of classic Italian cuisine: palate-enlightening and focused on quality and seasonal ingredients. Polished service, extensive bar and signature cocktails culminate in an Italian dining experience unlike any other.

The wine list has been accurately crafted and designed for every taste and wine lovers, offering a wide choice of bins and wines by the glass.

Aperol Spritz, Prosecco and Bellinis can also be added to the bottomless blowout*. Well balanced daily menu. The steak tartare was a little oversalted and the fish in the fish stew a bit meagre. And house wine at £50 per bottle a little excessive,

Food and service great. Amazing choice of wines. Quieter on a Saturday night but not a bad thing considering it's slap bang in the city.

Great food! Loved the seabass carpacio, will be back for that. Truffle risotto was also divine. The bar trolley cocktails listed on open tables version of the menu are not available, the servers had never heard of them. This is a shame as they looked amazing. Will be going again!

Not keen on the carafe of white wine we had…. Not bad enough to send back but not great. Carbonara too al dente for my liking, too salty and some odd about taste as if they’d added some weird herb. Good service, nice place
