A warm welcome to Pianillo Chertsey, the home of the very finest italian food. Pianillo has been established in Chertsey, London since April 2024. Pianillo is a family established restaurant. Since our arrival in Chertsey, we have had the privilege of serving our beautiful customers, who have now become also our friends.

We came to this restaurant because we had been before and the food and service is always great. This time, the food was really good as usual, but the service was lacking a bit. They did have a full house and were genuinely busy, however, it took longer than expected still to be asked for food and for them to come clear table after each course. Lady serving us still friendly, but we had to keep calling them over if we wanted something. They also had live music, which we werent aware but it was nice. Only thing we would say is the music was too loud and so we couldnt hear the singer very well and we sat right by a speaker.

WOULD RECOMMEND FOR GREAT FOOD BUT SERVICE IS SHOCKING WHEN IT GETS BUSY - Waited 1 hour 15 mins to be seated on Valentine’s weekend at a table we had booked for 7:30. Finally got taken through at 8:45 after watching multiple tables of 2 being escorted to a table, despite them coming into the restaurant much later than us. The organisation was really poor and after 20 minutes of waiting in the bar, we were told just 15 minutes more until our table would be ready, to then wait for a further 55 minutes. This really dampened the mood for what was supposed to be a nice evening for myself and my girlfriend and we were actually getting up to walk out as the restaurant manager called us over to tell us our table was ready. Once seated, the food in fairness was good as it always has been when I have been previously. I was just really disappointed by the service we received and all we got was “sorry it’s busy tonight”, no offer of any form of compensation or discount or any gesture of goodwill. I understand it was a busy night and I would absolutely understand waiting for a long time if we were a walk in, but this had been booked in advance for a specified time slot, surely the table should be ready for that time? Otherwise what is the point in the booking system in the first place? This is the first time I’ve ever removed the optional service charge on the bill and apologised to our lovely waiter as I said that he had been great, but I just can’t justify paying the service charge after waiting so long. I’m not one to complain about things at all and some people may think I’m being unreasonable but this is purely to complain about the service on a particular evening and not to complain about the quality of the food. The food is always great here and would 100% recommend it (maybe just on a quieter night of the week)

Booked for Valentines Day but was surprised only Valentines set menu was available with very limited options . However there was a great atmosphere and food was lovely . Can't wait to try this place again with the full menu

We previously had our personal celebration here about two years when it was under the “caspari” operation. As we live close by I thought to book here again. Definitely a 10/10 experience. The waiters themselves are such sweethearts. They are super clean in every aspect, nothing goes unseen and everything seemed to have been managed efficiently. Working in the service industry, I am aware that it takes a lot of planning to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The food was of a good portion - not too much not too little. Well worth the money. They also cocktail nights and live singing which gives off such great vibes. Would definitely try to book soon!

Amazing expirience, thank you Pianillo for making my birthday so special! delicios food and drinks!!! Staff was very friendly and professional !!! Music was a little bit loud but lovely songs ! Very nice interior and very clean ! All my friends were amazed and will come back again 🥳

When we booked we weren’t aware there was live music and were looking forward to a nice quiet night out with friends for food and a good chat. This was ruined by a very loud singer who walked round the restaurant and interrupting diners. It was so loud you couldn’t hear your fellow diners. It was a relief when he had a break. Wouldn’t book again for this reason

Great crowd so was a good atmosphere and food was lovely. Staff very courteous and plenty if them. Thanks for the lemon in my G&T! A Frank Sinatra type crooner singer good but not brilliant was an atmosphere though. Great value and so nice to have a filled restaurant!
