I made a reservation at P.F. Chang’s over a week in advance for Valentine’s Day, expecting a well-managed dining experience. Upon arrival, it was clear the restaurant had severely overbooked, with wait times extending until nearly closing. There were no apologies, no efforts to accommodate guests, and the staff was noticeably unprofessional and dismissive. The environment was chaotic, with guests packed into the entrance, pushing and stepping on others just to get inside. The lack of organization and customer service was truly disappointing. I would not recommend this location to anyone seeking a well-run dining experience.

I made reservations for 7:00pm a week ahead of time. When we (a 2 person party) arrived, the host team could not find the reservation. Then they asked if it was made through Open Table. When I said yes, they said they didn't like Open Table, as the reservations are on a different screen. I believe we were then placed at the bottom of the list, despite reservations. We waited 40 minutes to be sat. We were quickly ready to order drinks and food, but after doing so, the drinks took 20 minutes even though 3 bartenders were working. A table that sat down 10-15 minutes after us got their food and drinks first. We ordered another 2 drinks while waiting for food. When the food arrived, the appetizer and both meals came out at the same time. My wife's food was cold, but we didn't dare mention it at the risk of waiting another 30-40 minutes. We finished eating and were still waiting for the drinks, so we cancelled them from the order. Overall the experience was pretty terrible. The staff seemed disorganized, the table was sticky, the waits were incredibly long even for the occasion, and the fact that our reservation was entirely disregarded was very frustrating. We will not be going back.

We enjoy dining at a themed restaurant. Even though we had a reservation in the dining room, we love sitting at the bar. There happened to be some seats available. We noticed new menus and a different look behind the bar. Very tastefully done. The food was an excellent value at a different price point. They were out of a few things we ordered so that was disappointing. PF Chang’s is nestled in the Vanderbilt area, so it appeals to many . We will go back.

Dear PF Chang’s Management Team, I have been a loyal customer of PF Chang’s for many years, dining at locations across the country, including Las Vegas, Richmond, and Nashville. Unfortunately, my recent experience at your Nashville location left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the state of service and management at this establishment. Our server, whose name we were not informed of, appeared to be completely unprepared for the responsibilities of her role. She lacked knowledge about the menu, including beer and alcohol options, and it seemed that neither the bartenders nor the managers on duty were equipped to support her adequately. It was clear she had not received proper training, and I genuinely felt bad for her being put in such a challenging position without the necessary preparation. While I do not fault the server herself—she was clearly trying her best—the lack of training and support falls squarely on management. The post-COVID era has undeniably posed challenges for the service industry, but strong and professional leadership is more critical now than ever. Unfortunately, what I witnessed at your Nashville location was a glaring lack of experience, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in management. This approach may yield short-term gains, but in the long run, it damages the reputation and customer trust that PF Chang’s has built over the years. I hope this feedback serves as a wake-up call to reassess your hiring, training, and managerial processes. Your staff deserve the tools and support to succeed, and your customers deserve the quality of service synonymous with the PF Chang’s brand. I sincerely hope to see improvements at this location and would appreciate any updates on steps you are taking to address these issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The food was re-warmed, not fresh. The dish I’ve had many times was lacking in sauce and flavor. The fried rice was gummy! The service was only fair. A request was made and not brought to the table until we were finished. First time I’ve ever eaten here that I didn’t take home leftovers—and I had plenty left over. The restaurant was not crowded at 6:00 pm so that should have been a clue, too.

PF Chang’s has reinvented itself. The new menu has so many good options and the quality of the food is outstanding. The staff was very friendly and engaged. They also have managed to keep the cost reasonable that has been such a challenge the last few years.

We stood at the hostess stand for at least 15 mins before someone wandered up. There was a person at the to go area doing orders, who studiously ignored us (and the other people in front of us) and didn’t call the host or anything. Finally they acknowledged our presence and sat the couple in front of us (who were hammered). Then, she came back, we told her we had a reservation and she was completely confused and had to call someone else over- which was odd as the restaurant was 80% empty. Our server was good and nice, but he was pretty much the only highlight of the evening. We likely will not be back as there are a million other options in Nashville that are much better.

On this visit, I fell into a "no server but one" hole and for 45+ minutes, I sat there with nothing but a glass of water. I had talked to the current hostess at least 3 times during my wait but still no server came to my table. So I asked for the manager. I told him how long I had been there, that no server had even approached me(I got water from the hostess), that all the people eating at that time had come in after me and some had even eaten and already left! Of course he was very apologetic. He said it was absolutely unacceptable that I had waited that long and that he would take care of me himself. He instead, brought a server(Ethan)to the table. Apparently, the manager explained, that due to a breakdown in communication, I was overlooked. The hostess that seated me didn't tell the oncoming hostess that I needed a server when she left and the new hostess didn't tell the incoming server whose area I was in, that I was there. The manager did take half off my bill(which I appreciated)and made sure I was taken care of. Ethan(my server)was excellent. He was apologetic for the lack of service from before and he made up for it with very attentive service, being friendly, patient and responsive to my needs. I ordered Crab Wontons as an appetizer and Singapore Street Noodles as an entree. When I did get my food, it was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. And, I certainly appreciated the discount on my bill. All in all, even tho the first 45+ minutes of my dining experience were less than enjoyable, the rest of it turned into a great time for me. It may not be soon, but I will return to P.F. Chang's to eat again.
