Spending time researching in France for inspiration, Virant has crafted every dish with meticulous attention to detail and a reverence for tradition.

Seating 65 guests, Petite Vie’s intimate space exudes the warmth and comfort of a traditional French brasserie, while seamlessly blending modern design elements. A collaboration between Virant, his wife Jennifer and long-time friend and designer Jody Tate, every detail at Petite Vie tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful curation.

Featuring French intricacy and layering, the space is a canvas of artistic expression, with artwork curated from both local talents and treasures acquired during the team's time in Paris. Framed prints, commissioned paintings, and a round antique mirror passed down through generations, adorn the walls, adding layers of intrigue.

I am a fan of Paul Virant So I was dying to try his new restaurant. I brought my stepdaughter out of town also is a fan of Vie. We love the escargot, and the pike appetizers. Our entrées were also superb! We even tried a tart for dessert. Our service was wonderful, ambience was great and we were so pleased to be there.

Excellent! We enjoyed the fois gras, salad lyonnaise, confit duck, steak frites and profiteroles. I’m a fan of Chef Paul’s Gaijin and this was my first time at Petite Vie. Loved it!

Very Lively, Vibrant, & Authentic Space! Reminds you of being in France! The menu is Awesome! Food executed perfectly. Service is on point, knowledgeable, & eager to please. Owner is on site and constantly on the move working to make sure everything is to his, & the diners satisfaction. He & the staff genuinely care! That is obvious. Excellent French forward wine list. Started with a mixed drink , & cocktail. The bartenders definitely know their craft. Great drink! Food was fantastic! Best chicken I’ve had in years! Nice the menu can satisfy whether you just want to share small plates or eat a 4 course meal. Know the space is authentically lively and loud. Lots of energy. Great Spot! Will be back!

Utterly disappointing. The old place was so fine - great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. Guests are now crammed in like sardines. Acoustics are awful - one n table of braying guests made it difficult for our server to even hear our orders. We were so close to the table on either side of us it was difficult to have a private conversation - especially shouting above the din. Food was ok but not great, and certainly not good enough to compensate for the noise level.

We had a fantastic dinner at Petite Vie. Food was delicious. Service was very attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and they went out of their way to make it a special evening. Highly recommend the gnocchi appetizer and steak frites.

It was a unique and fun evening honoring chef Jean Joho. Outstanding food and wine pairings. So nice to see not only the participants having a good time, but the chefs as well. What a positive experience. Thank you chef Paul.
