Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events.

Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles. Additionally, Petit Trois was featured on the late Jonathan Gold’s 101 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles list from 2015-2017 and has remained on the list since 2019 when Bill Addison & Patricia Escárcega took over.

Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: Aunque el restaurante original Petit Trois es pequeño, como indica su nombre en francés (petit), la segunda versión del restaurante, a cargo de Ludo Lefebvre y situado en Sherman Oaks, es mucho mayor y cuenta con techos altos, detalles dorados y banquetas muy cómodas de color verde menta. Además, podrás degustar todos los platos clásicos, como el filete con patatas y la famosa hamburguesa Big Mec. Te aconsejo reservar plaza en el pequeño mostrador del chef para disfrutar de toda la acción que tiene lugar en la cocina.

It was a special night , we got seated in the middle of the empty room , which was supposed to be their party area ( it was only four of us )with AC blowing like crazy . After finishing the appetizers seamed like it took them forever to serve the dinner. Guys ordered the steak and fries, which was undoubtfully the smallest steak we have ever been served. Even though the waiter was told that it was B day celebration they couldn’t even bring a small dessert on the house . Not a pleasant experience at all

Why ask us if it’s a special occasion if it’s not going to be celebrated? I took two friends here on two separate occasions to celebrate their birthday, yet nothing was done. I don’t expect a free dessert, but at least a candle when I ordered a dessert for my friend. Food was delicious, but service was really slow. We were there for almost 3 hours, and not by choice! Spent way too much time waiting to order our food, and once owe ordered, it took a long time to receive our appetizer and dinner.

Loved it, always a great experience, the team works together making sure guest are taken care of. Pace the food perfectly. Everyone is super friendly. And I was able to get in today normally its impossible. 🙏

Do not under any circumstance accept or reserve a table on the patio. It was loud, zero ambiance for that price point. It’s best to come back when you can sit indoors. It ruined a much anticipated date night. Food and service though was great.

The restaurant didn’t have the aesthetic I expected. Slow service, I had the steak frites but the steak was cold.

How good is the French food at Petit Trois Le Valley? Let’s just say that when I’m eating in my favorite French Restaurant in Paris… I’m WISHING I was eating here.

We had great service and the table was perfect! Hostess was welcoming and provided us a lovely table. The pinot noir our waiter recommended was outstanding and sis liked her rose. Biggest disappointment was the onion soup! I have heard it was the best in L A but something was off! Perhaps it missed the depth of flavor or I didn’t care for the veal stock vs. beef. My sister left half of hers, certainly not worth $25.00 for the tureen. Baguette was good but the starter they use is nothing special nor was the butter served with it. We shared the burger and were surprised there were 2 1/4 inch burgers instead of one 1/2 inch. Sauce was delicious but wouldn’t necessarily order again. The chocolate soufflé was the best part of the meal along with a great wait staff and ambiance.

Servers were not very attentive. Gave us the check without even asking if we wanted dessert, which we wanted.
