Staff were lovely and attentive, the DJ was playing really good up to date music choices and the atmosphere was great! However the food was really disappointing, the black cod was soggy and cold. We should have been served 2 desserts from the set menu we had paid £115 per person for but was only served one which wasn’t great (we weren’t offered the other we had paid for). Service charge was £30 which I wouldn’t usually mind paying but the food was not worthy of the extra charge. We won’t be going to this restaurant again for food unfortunately.

We booked for pre theatre set menu ..experienced some reluctance in obtaing said menu . They would have prefered we order from a la carte. Waited 20 mins for a drink upon arrival. Service was incosistent with numerous waiters not knowing wether we had ordered . Mains were just that.. no offerings of sides which we would have paid for. Service slow and charged for more food than we had . Took ages to rectify bill. We practically had to run to the theatre to make the show .In short not geared up for pre theatre diners. Shame as been in the past and had great experiences. Alas not this time !

I love Peter street however, this visit was extremely disappointing for a Saturday evening meal. The table next to us a couple, was arguing throughout our meal over the top of the already loud music with the DJ. The DJ was great but the swearing from the couple and the lack of staff attending to this nuisance leave our dining experience to be completely ruined. We ordered my favourite duck salad however, due to the busy period they completely forgot to add the dressing so we were all left with 2 dry salad bowls.
