Since Bob Perry opened his first meat market in 1979 on Scarsdale Boulevard in Southeast Houston, Perry’s has served up exceptional cuisine and customer satisfaction. In 1986, Bob Perry’s son, Chris Perry, joined the family business and expanded the butcher shop to include a dining area. Hard work and great success lead to the opening of a second Market & Grille in Friendswood in 1989.

After forty years, Perry & Son’s Market & Grille continues to offer the finest, freshest selections of Perry’s choice steaks, pork, chicken, seafood and sides.

I made the mistake of taking my husband to this restaurant for his birthday. I made the reservation with notes that it was his birthday and a veteran. The restaurant / waiter did not make any attempt to thank him for being a veteran or anything for his birthday. Food was poor quality, not worth the $ 150 + price tag. Maybe this was a new waiter, but service was slow and had to ask multiple times for anything. Really disappointed With this type of establishment.

When we arrived we knew they were going to be extremely busy which was okay. We have always had a great experience in the past, but today was different. We waited over an hour for our food which we were fine with. When the food arrived it was missing one of our sides we told our waitress right away. She never brought us our missing item. She only checked on us once during the whole visit. We were there over and hour and a half. We were okay at first with her not bringing out our side with the food but to not even bring out at all was not acceptable. We shouldn’t have to ask multiple times. Other than that the food tasted great as usual. Just disappointed with this visit.

Top notch menu with excellent food and service. Meat market to go is fantastic. The Perry's pork chop is a must have. The pecan smoked jalapeño sausage is a delicious.

Love the new remodel interior. Adds to the dinning experience. New Items on the Off Menu. Cant wait to try. Everything super tasty. Really appreciate the special Veterans Day Dinner. Chris and Maritza took great care of us.
