Located in the heart of East Nashville, Peninsula serves up sharable plates, old world wines, and Spanish style gin and tonics in an inviting and intimate space. James Beard nominated Chef Jake Howell's menu focuses on sustainable, local ingredients and features seasonal, creative dishes influenced by the Iberian Peninsula. Guests are encouraged to sample the flavors of Spain, Portugal and France while enjoying the rustic, yet modern surrounds.

Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: James Beard Award-nominated chef and StarChefs Rising Star Jake Howell is all about the Iberian Peninsula here, where tapas and gin and tonics in a rustic space transport you straight to the coast. But don’t expect tradition—Howell's approach is more modern in dishes like scallops with melon tea and calendula or tomato toast sprinkled with black nigella seeds. The result is Eater Nashville's 2018 restaurant of the year.

Outstanding service by staff and owner, Craig! We took a Culinary Adventure and took all of the Chef’s recommendations for our party of 4. We were 1st time visitors to Peninsula and absolutely loved the experience! With every dish we were surprised that the description of each dish was very different from the remarkable flavors! You’ve NEVER dined like this before—-in a very good way!!! Everything was unique, exceptionally well-prepared and presented. A true 5-star experience and we will return!

This place is a hidden gem. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday. The owner served us. He was great fun. The gin and tonics were a special treat. Every single bite was delicious. We will be back.

Our bartender was an amazing host and helped sort. Just the right selections for cocktails and menu items. We don’t consider ourselves, particularly adventurous eaters and he was able to find us exactly what was spectacular for us.
