    Had a wonderful evening. Food was excellent. Menu is tailored for what is fresh and seasonal and is ever changing based on that.

    Another excellent meal from the chef, Josh. Two of started with the salt cod which was stunning. I had the Monkfish in a mouclade sauce, which was suberb and everyone else at the table had the venison which was tender and delicious.

    We had a fantastic burns night menu which was delicious and excellent value for money per person. The drinks and wine are specially selected and the interior of the restaurant is homely but beautiful.

    We returned to our favourite restaurant in the area and again we were not disappointed with the innovative cooking of the young chef . The food is superb and accompanied by a nice selection of wines. The service is friendly and informative but most importantly very relaxed and makes the whole evening such a joy. The young owners fully deserve to succeed and it is great to see how people are realizing what a gem they have in the neighbourhood. We would travel a long way to this restaurant

    I had been curious since hearing about the pear & olive a couple of months ago. A birthday celebration afforded us the opportunity to try it out recently. The restaurant is small and the menu is limited. That is not a criticism because small equates to cosy atmosphere and limited menu equates to extremely well executed. I can’t remember when I last enjoyed a meal so much. The service was friendly yet under-stated. If you believe in “ you get what you pay for” then this may well be one of the few bargains still out there. I can’t wait to come back.
