Welcome to Parklands Tavern, a family friendly pub located in Meridan Plains on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are locally owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Hotels Pty Ltd.

Parklands Tavern was established as a garden oasis, a relaxed and inviting environment that reflects typical Australian hospitality and ease.

The Yard, our outdoor space offers vintage brick paving, a vintage tractor, arbour and established gardens. Sit at the barrels and enjoy a cold beverage during the day or join us at night under the naked bulb lights.

The kitchen team uses only the freshest and best quality ingredients with locally sourced produce with daily visits to our own vegetable garden beds and citrus grove to offer a well-balanced, delicious Australian pub bistro menu with plenty of variety for all tastes.

    Over all the night was fine however I had the lamb and it very disappointing it was tough over cooked and like leather other meals were ok

    Me and my friends had a lovely time as always. We sat near de children's playroom. I would suggest for you to seat parents with small children close to that room so the children don't have to cross running to their parents table and parents can keep an eye on them.     Disappointed. I ordered the smoked chicken salad. It cost $27. This meal consisted of packet mixed lettuce, the smallest amount of shaved ham or "chicken"...a few slithers of mango. The dressing was nice, however I was starving! My girlfriend also ordered the same, we both ordered a bowl of chips halfway through our meal. It was so disappointing, what we were given would of cost $5 total. Then one of our kids ordered the fish and chips kids meal, the "fish" was two tiny pieces of finger sized fish. It's just frustrating and disappointing when you are paying top dollar and getting hardly anything to eat. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere could of been better, it was new years eve, throw a party for, your customers, we want to have fun!! No drink specials or food offers, which would of been good considering it was new years. It's such a shame, because this place has a great outdoor area that could be utilised so much better.

    50 minutes after we arrived before very mediocre and relatively expensive food got to our table. Staff were rude and dismissive “we are very busy tonight”. Not a good experience at all.
