Park & Howard Bistro located on the corner of Park and Howard Ave in Burlingame CA and featuring fresh seasonal American cuisine. We offer a carefully chosen eclectic world wide wine list. Park & Howard Bistro has a decidedly understated rustic motif, linen tables clothes, hardwood floors, intimate leather booths , & rich mahogany wood accents and is an affordable sophisticated, fun dining experience. Park & Howard Bistro also has intimate private dining rooms perfect for that corporate presentation, business meeting, wedding rehearsal dinner, retirement celebrations ,anniversary dinner, or any special function you may have in mind. Check out our private wine cellar room which seats up to 12 people for that extra special dining experience.

The wait staff were unattentive; we were uncertain who our waiter was, we had to flag one of them every time we needed something, ie more water, had to ask for bread, ask for someone to get dessert menu, had to ask someone to box leftovers, etc. Then the person never came back with our leftovers. We left without it! In short, management needs to train staff to be customer service people! Get organized— assign specific wait person to the table; fit the price of food, patrons shouldn’t have to try to get someone’s attention for services!!!

We had our business holiday dinner and we were extremely happy. The service was excellent and the food was exquisite. Thank you Park and Howard team to make it so special.

The food and service were both top notch. We were seated by the front door and literally next to the host stand which both were not optimum. The only other issue is the noise level from everyone in the restaurant was so high that we had difficulty communicating. I would recommend they hire an acoustical expert and place sound deadening material around the place to knock down the chatter. But I must say the food was phenomenal.

Excellent food. Manager checked in several times to see how things were going. During the holiday season parking is extremely difficult but normally not that bad. Also during the holidays it can be extremely loud but outside that time noise level is average for a busy restaurant. Would recommend for both lunch and dinner.

Appetizers were great but the three of us got halibut and it was overcooked/well done and dry. Flavor was good. It’s a shame that the fish was overcooked. Lamb chops was good and filet mignon.

It was very noisy and cold We sat next to a table with very boisterous people The door kept opening and we were quite cold We plan to join you later in the lunchtime and request a table in the side room
