   There was a real loud party going on that virtually emptied out all the other patrons from the restaurant. Our group repeatedly asked management to have the party lower their voices a bit. To no avail, it was a very frustrating experience. To make matters worse the food was fair at best.

   This restaurant always has the best food and nicest staff! One of the best places to visit in Carmel for a nice dinner or date night. The Thai Coconut Curry is one of the best meals on the whole menu. The Lavender Lemonade Martini is also phenomenal. I highly recommend to anyone who is visiting!!

   I invited a friend for lunch at Pangea. She said she was curious to try it. I’ve been here before. She ordered the tacos and a beer salad. She said she liked the tacos but the beet salad had a syrupy balsamic dressing that was too overpowering and thick. She barely put any on her beet salad. I ordered a Caesar salad with a grilled salmon. My salmon was perfectly cooked. The salad would have been great but the store-bought cheap tasting dressing was just not what a classic Caesar should be. I did appreciate the added diced avocados added to it, though. I ordered the Caesar because their other salads had dressings that were way too sweet and one-dimensional using balsamic vinegar as the acid in the mix. Wish they would make the effort for better dressings. Surely their chefs can whip up better ones in-house. Mark, our server was a most gracious host to us.

   Dinner at Pangaea Grill is a must every time we are in Carmel. Tonight’s dinner experience was no difference. Our server, Haven, is the best! We always have a quality experience when Haven is our server. I ordered the Shrimp & Scallop Alfredo Pasta and it was wonderful. Highly recommended.

   Venue situated in the middle of the action in Carmel. Friendly service, clean and welcoming. Seven in our party, nice table, attended to quickly, appetizers (Dumplings were great (spicy but flavorful) Three of us had the Rib eye at $60. were surprised at how small the steak was and the mashed potatoes were a spoonful and bland. The mushrooms and bock Choy was good but poor value for the money. two orders of short ribs - both in the party were disappointed, too much fat and hardly any meat. One filet was unevenly cooked but good and finally one coconut strip dish with two shrimp and two scallops - one scallop was uncooked. I wanted to love this place and there was a huge line outside so possibly we ordered all of the wrong items (except the dumplings, there were great) My two favorite parts: we had the best server and there were free refills on sodas. Not going back, but they don't need my business - they were slammed.

    Elijah was the best server hands down. So attentive and made us feel so special on our anniversary. He’s the best!
