Food was cold cold when we got it. Waitress takes long to come back for what we requested, yet we see her just walking around the bar area.

We have been to this location of Pacini’s several times, and other locations in Montreal for decades. At the beginning at this location, the food and service were great, it’s slowly going downhill. The past three times we made reservations, we requested the lounge, each time we were sat next to the bathroom and kitchen. We asked the hostess if we could switch, she was actually a bit rude, and simply said we should have requested that in the reservation. We explained that we had, then she said that it’s a rotational issue with servers, so we couldn’t switch seats and walked away. Immediately we were taken aback. We asked our server if we could move, and she made it work, we explained that the past 2 times we made reservations, we requested the lounge and every time we got sat next to the ladies washroom. As there aren’t door to the washroom, we would hear the toilets flush making our experience a bit uncomfortable. She was very sweet, but we did have to wait for her for 20 mins to get our first drink order in. The food was okay, I had the veal scallopini, the portion of veal is nearly twice as small as it used to be. It’s a shame, because the experiences we have had in Montreal for years has been exceptional, unfortunately, this location seems like they are starting to slack a bit. We’re not sure if we will go back. I think the hosts need to be trained a bit better, it’s not the first time we felt the hosts were simply rude, not just to us but other guests. It’s the first thing a guest experiences and the last, this hostess certainly was rude and borderline condescending. If you can’t accommodate certain areas of your restaurant, simply don’t offer them. It’s extremely frustrating as a guest to expect something and then get the complete opposite.

Everytime we visit Pacini’s we leave raving about the food and the service! Not to mention, the bread bar. Highly recommend for the above reasons plus the ambience, mock tails for my teen and great drink menu! Love it here! Will be back!

our seating arrangements I wasn’t very happy. We were right beside the kitchen and people were going in and out and where the bread bar is too., there was a lot of vacancy, especially near the windows where the bar is that would’ve been a lot nicer. I don’t understand why they would put us there when there’s a lot of seating.. our waitress was excellent very good that made up for our seating area.

Lovely ambiance with big comfortable couches and no squishing in with diners elbow to elbow. Complimentary bread bar with toasting grill is awesome! And complimentary sparkling versus flat water is nice too. Delicious pizza’s, and everything plated beautifully. Moderate price range and would be a great place for a date or Christmas party! Have been here several times and have never been disappointed.

I'd like to explain the low service and overall experience. I'll put it ALL on Management. Our server, who was very nice, seemed to be the main bartender!! We saw her making our drinks and many more for other tables. Hence, the attention to our table was greatly lacking. Unfortunately our server did not apologize for the slow service. Even though it wasn't her fault, it would have been appreciated. Food was good, atmosphere was great, all you can eat bread bar...what can I say (5 stars!). Pacini-Mississauga.....hire a designated bartender! ps. our server did make an awesome bourbon sour!
