Focusing on the lush offerings of Southern California, while blending the flavors of the Latin and Asian cuisine, Pacific Hideaway features flavors drawn from the coastal hotspots throughout the Pacific. The menu features small and large plates, such as whole crispy Tai Snapper served with an accompaniment of sauces, lush vegetables, and other accouterments. The bar program incorporates central coast wine, craft beer, and seasonal cocktails utilizing fresh ingredients and unique flavors. Try the Pineapple Express featuring gin, pamplemousse, pineapple, lemon, honey h2o and a faux doobie rolled with oregano and sage. Pacific Hideaway located on the second floor in the Kimpton Shorebreak Resort, located at 500 Pacific Coast Hwy in Huntington Beach, California.

Pacific Hideaway is available to cater for any event on and off property. We have two private dining rooms that can be combined into one large room, accommodating up to 50 people. We also have 4 large ballrooms, along with multiple outdoor spaces that can be utilized for any event or celebration.

My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day by having dinner at Pacific Hideaway. my wife had the lobster shrimp pasta Valentine special I had the ribeye. The solo artist singing did a wonderful job entertaining us. The dinner was nice. We had a newer waitress who was helped out by a couple other experience waitress to make all well overall good experience, trying to support local business as we live locally in Huntington Beach.

Went for Brunch twice. Service was great both days. Staff very welcoming. Shared the breakfast burrito & bread pudding French toast with my husband both days. Delicious! The burrito is one of the best I’ve had. Just the right amount of each filling, fresh & tasty. The bread pudding French toast came topped with powdered sugar & fresh berries, and sides of whipped cream & syrup. So good! We were staying at the Shorebreak Hotel but I’d come back just for brunch. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The first day our server comped my Pina Colada since it was my birthday. He said they normally provide a dessert but since we had the French toast he comped the drink instead. So thoughtful! We also had room service from the restaurant while watching the Super Bowl. Fish & Chips, short rib grilled cheese, chips, guacamole & queso. Everything arrived hot & fresh. We will be back and can highly recommend.

Stopped for a short and light dinner. Had Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos, Crispy Chicken Tacos and a Caesar Salad. All dishes we tried were excellent. The menu had a variety of creative items. Service and atmosphere were great.

Our family wasn’t available for Christmas dinner at home this year, so the two of us went off on an adventure & found Pacific Hideaway. Everything was great - the modern ambience, the pleasant service, & delicious food! We left happy & content! Hope to return again soon!👍👍👍👍

A last minute booking for an early Thanksgiving dinner for two revealed a culinary revelation. Within a smartly designed space tucked inside of the Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach Resort this restaurant belongs among some of the very best in Southern California, if not the entire country. A prix fix Thanksgiving dinner complete with the usual suspects, Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc., is just not supposed to satisfy a discerning foodie on this level. The beautiful presentation (think Norman Rockwell) was exceeded by, to put it simply, perfect food, ably served by the charming staff. Congratulations and thanks for a great meal. We’ll be back.

We came for Thanksgiving dinner. We’ve eaten other meals at The Hideaway and they were excellent.The dinner was average at best and grossly overpriced. This was not what we expected since we’ve eaten the days prior (restaurant in hotel). I would eat here again just not special occasion meals.

We went early to catch sunset and relax after a full afternoon and Pacific Hideaway delivered. We had a table by the window, atmosphere was energetic without being loud or over-busy, our server was attentive, & we loved our multiple shared appetizers and entree.
