   We love Pacific Catch. Great food & drinks. Fun to sit @ bar with awesome bartenders. Comfortable seating inside & patio. Always great service and consistently great service. Affordable, casual but quality & stylish. Give them a try.

   We made a reservation for 5:00 pm, once seated we asked about the Happy Hour, was told Happy Hour was only in the bar area. However, the Server allowed us to order food off the Happy Hour menu which was nice , we ordered from both menus. I don't understand why we dined during Happy Hour and had to pay $5.00 more for drinks due to sitting 100 feet away from the bar? Overall food, tacos, and drinks were excellent. Next time will sit in the bar.

   The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars overall is because it's not really a "5-star" kind of restaurant. However, the fish was well prepared, the vegetable sides were outstanding, and the service was pleasant and attentive. Ambience is casual and relaxed. Overall, a great place to have a meal while you are in the area.

   Great service as always. We like to sit @ bar with great bar tenders. Food is always consistently good and fair prices. Try the happy hour.

    Very enjoyable lunch with friends this afternoon at Pacific Catch, La Jolla. Food was excellent as usual (always consistent!) as well as our server who was very patient with us as we had group of eight. Ambience is just right with noise level low enough to hear everyone at the table w/out the need to shout. Will be back!
