Omakase By Aung is modern, up beat and contemporary sushi omakase restaurant located at 567 Kapahulu Ave next to world famous Waikiki beach in Honolulu. Mixture of Edomae style nigiris and model innovative nigiris will be served in 1 hour 45 minutes long Omakase meal. Seasonal fish from around the world are used in the 15 courses omakase meal.
Omakase by Aung provides single 15 courses menu to all customers for both Lunch and Dinner Service.
Chef Aung will provide laid back and fun experience for all sushi lovers. Open kitchen with a long 12 seats sushi counter in the middle of the restaurant allows interactive experience between the customers and the chefs.

    This was my first Omakase experience, Aung was highly recommended by someone we came across on the North Shore. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. Aung was so vibrant and he definitely made the experience even better. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great. Hands down a MUST.

    My girlfriend and I came here for our 1 year anniversary, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was really really good, I don’t think I’ve ever had better sushi in my life. From the rice, to the quality with which each piece was formed, to the wasabi, to the fish itself, it was immaculate. Everything really just melted in my mouth. The ambiance was amazing too, there was music and conversation, we had smiles on our faces the entire time.

    What a fun environment to eat sushi. Aung is an amazing chef that has a mastery of flavors. Definitely recommend! Aung likes tequila BTW.

    Outstanding experience, staff was friendly and outgoing and the environment and atmosphere is like no other restaurant we have been to!

    Awesome experience! Was going with a friend to celebrate her birthday but she had to take an emergency flight home. Still went and glad I did! Atmosphere, the chefs and other guests were so welcoming! The menu was delicious and will definitely bring a bottle to share next time! Thank you for the experience!

    Wonderful Omakase dinner with Chef Aung and Sarah. Each course was delicious and spaced out well. There was not one dish that we did not like. BYOB and share with the staff!

    Such an amazing first omakase experience with Chef Aung, Leslie, and Sarah! Every course was so delicious and diverse, while great music was playing. Made us feel special for our anniversary and we left very full! Recommend to all!
