Olive & Grill is a modern Mediterranean restaurant located in Studio City in the charming outdoor terrace under olives trees. I’m very disappointed with my experience here! I was looking forward to trying the Katchupuri Adjuruli which is hard to come by in LA. We ordered almost right away, and it took nearly an hour for me to receive my dish, when there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant. My friend got his food 25 minutes before I did, and he refused to eat it until I was served which made his food completely cold. I had asked where my dish was a couple of times and was told “5 more minutes” each time and ultimately it ended up being 25 minutes after my friend was served. Additionally, it did not look like the traditional bread boat advertised on Instagram, they basically did a makeshift pizza and threw an egg on top. Although the server comped this dish, she should’ve made a whole new meal for my friend that was warm. I was very disappointed and likely won’t return.

Best Mediterranean style kabobs and rice in all of LA. The Megruli Khachapuri is to die for!!! Trust us…must order hot appetizer!!!

Love this place but not a place to go when it’s cold. It’s way too cold at night even with the heaters and fire place. We’re freezing so made it hard to enjoy the food. The Brazino was amazing and that plum sauce to die for.

Plenty of tables available and online reservations are available. Yet we were told there’s no available tables, which led us to make an online reservation the same time to get ourselves seated…

The food was just okay. The babaganoush and tzaziki were good, but the meat and rice were just okay. Bland, uninspiring. We ordered the BBQ On Fire platter so we were able to try a variety of meats. The drinks were okay. The service was great and we really liked the guitar guy, great song choices. The atmosphere was cool. Overall, not worth a return visit.
