The Old Fountain is a family run business passed down through 3 generations, boasting a large selection of craft beer and real ales. With regular local beers and 15 changing taps, there is something for everyone.

To accompany the vast beer selection, our chef has developed the perfect menu. Full of moreish, homemade burgers, fully loaded chips and an ever changing small plate selection made for snacking. On Sunday's the pub turns gastro as we serve our very well known roast dinners from succulent beef and pork to a vegan friendly leek & onion wellington. Hospitable staff operating in a relaxed and cosy environment are on hand to provide great insight in to the beers and give attentive service.

Food is lovely but you just don’t get much meat or potatoes . Also it’s all crowded into a large Yorkshire so not presented v well and portions could be better Staff and chefs are really nice Pub is great

Excellent food and service in a traditional pub with a good range of drinks. We had a tasty Sunday roast with all the trimmings in a giant Yorkshire pudding. Both the pork and lamb were delicious. We will return. Thank you, Team Old Fountain

The old fountain were very accommodating with my initial booking as I had the amend the table numbers a couple of times. I’d eaten there before, which I really enjoyed. This time did not disappoint! The food and the service were both excellent. Definitely going back for more.

Excellent service from the team. Nepalese Dumplings starters were fantastic and highly recommended, as were the desserts. As always, a great craft beer selection too - the main reason we keep coming back! The Sunday lunch does seem to have changed since our last visit, with a large Yorkshire and most of the food inside it. The Yorkshire was crispy and tasty as was the Beef. The Pork Belly was very small for the cost but I think we were just unlucky as I could see other plates and they weren't quite the same. The Chicken looked plentiful and the Beef just right, cooked perfectly too. A negative would be the Cauliflower Cheese. I would normally expect to be able to buy a side portion of that for the table but it wasn't available. Sadly I had no more than a teaspoon of it on my plate which was a shame. All told, a very good meal for all and I would definitely recommend going if you have not tried it.

Splendid! Came here last night for a Sunday roast with my fiancé & future in-laws, in search of a classic Sunday roast experience. We were all blown away by the delicious food and WILD portions (look out for that Yorkshire pudding!). Amazing value for the money, attentive service and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious Sunday roast.

Great food (I had chicken , wife had lamb) the only slight downside was no roast potatoes with the chicken ...but overall a good well priced meal and would definatey recommend food
