Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria, Philotimo, and the newly opened Le Clou. Officina seeks to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy to Washington, D.C., and is an ode to Stefanelli’s travels, training, and distinctly Italian-American upbringing.

We look forward to welcoming you for unique experiences that capture the essence of Italy. From sunset cocktails atop our Terrazza or a weekday lunch in our Cafe.

La comida es rica pero el servicio fue MUY deficiente. Había eventos, no Puerto mantener su novel de servicio. Pero más importante, elections un vino y nos dieron otro 4 veces mas barato en el mercado y lo cobraron como el que solicitamos. Finalmente la gerente nos dejó gratis, pero hubo un intento deliberado de cobrarnos mucho más

For being Mardi Gras parade outside it was peaceful and delicious. The service Irma was delightful and we were well looked after.

I'd heard wonderful things about Officina. Honestly I feel like I've had better. (Like Villagio in Clifton.) Officina was just very pricy and the pasta was ho hum. The riccota on the bread was outstanding. The chicken parm was huge... a smaller chicken with past included would have been better. Service was very good for a party of 8. We were very happy with a round table.

We had a table for 9 people and the restaurant was pretty much empty maybe 2 other tables were occupied, Everything took so long to come out and our server wasn’t confident on the menu anything we asked she had to go to the kitchen and ask the chef! Overall the service was slow and and not joyful the food was just ok and the ambiance wasn’t anything special.

Overall, the experience started out nice, but towards the middle , there was this rowdy table behind me about eight people standing in sitting taking shots being loud and no one from the restaurant ask them to be quiet or calm down with the noise level I was ready to leave before I finished all my food

Honestly disappointed. Food was fine (I make better risotto tho…) nothing specifically wrong with anything but nearly $500 including a nice bottle of wine for meh food for two is just not my style. I doubt we’d go back.

This was a celebration dinner. Staff was patient as we chatted and caught up with one another. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
