The food was terrific. Our server was very nice. These two things were not the problem. It was Friday evening and we had a reservation. When we arrived we waited at the door for 10 minutes and no one was around for us to check in. I finally asked at the bar, and a bartender said a hostess would be with us soon. We waited another 5 minutes before I went off to find someone again. We'd never been there before, so I thought maybe we were at a wrong entrance or something. I found someone I'm guessing is the manager back by the kitchen window. I told him we'd been waiting a while and I wasn't sure we were in the right place. He responded kind of nastily, "Give us a minute!" Wow. I went back to the entryway and we waited yet another few minutes until he finally came out to seat us. I thanked him, but he just gave me a nasty look as he walked away without speaking. After that we waited another 13 minutes for a server to finally come to our table. No one ever checked us in for our reservation. Once a server finally showed up things were better, but it took a pretty long time to get food too. She was super nice though. I don't think we'll be back, which is a shame, because my mom lives in the building. Despite the good food and the nice individual server, it just isn't worth dealing with people who ignore us and then are nasty about it.
