Food was very average. Service was very good and attentive. Decor of the room is very attractive. Piped in music maybe a little too loud.

I read through all the reviews and everything sounded delicious so I was excited to try the menu and to celebrate my +1's birthday. My reservation was at 6:45 and we were seated promptly. The one dish I was most excited to try was the Short Rib Parpadelle, and was told that it was the only thing that was sold out . . . surprised to hear this on a Monday early in the night. Dishes ordered: 1. The Gnocco Fritto felt soggy, not crispy at all as I cut into it. 2. Beet Salad was a refreshing and light dish, full of flavour and a variety of textures. 3. Rigatoni with Guanciale flavours were great, creamy but not overly heavy and glad it came out hot. 4. Chittarine with Veal Meatballs was apparently one of the favourites on the menu . . . I love simplicity but this plate fell flat and the sauce did not have much flavour, nor did the veal add to the dish. Drinks fell short as well. 1. Negroni Sbagliato had too much prosecco and barely tasted like a negroni 2. Paloma was all lime with no taste of grapefruit Maybe it was just me, but neither of us finished our drinks. I love a small menu that does dishes well. There were some wins but sadly, the one thing I was most excited to try was not available. I am happy to see a place that isn't pretentious and overly priced where you can dress up or down without feeling out of place. I booked stating it was a birthday and when I received a call to confirm, I restated that we were celebrating 'his'. The hostess made it a point to make a note in the booking but this was never acknowledged at any point of the meal, so I'd like to think the restaurant is going through some growing pains.

Drinks were delicious. The service is some of the best I've ever experienced in the city. Really pretty interior. Apps disappeared in minutes - I just wish I was able to say the same about the main dishes. Just kind of fell flat. It wasn't bad - I just wished the mains were the star of the night, and unfortunately they weren't.

Once again a fantastic experience from beginning to end , this is my 3rd visit and it did not disappoint. Thank you to Sarah and chef and all the staff for being so amazing . This has become one of my favourite spots in the city . See you all soon Brigitte

Overall, it was a very good experience! The food was delicious with authentic Italian flavour. As an Italian myself, I can vouch for this. It was nice to see some different food options on the menu as well. Some of the food and wines seem to have inspiration from the Emilia Romagna and Le Marche regions. The ambience is beautiful, clean lines, well-designed. Love how the building and space was used, multilevel off the 'beaten path' etc. The mains, pastas, were very good. I personally had the pappardelle and enjoyed them a lot! The short rib and pappardelle were fantastic as was the amatrician pasta. The portions on the pastas were good and appropriate. The appetizers were good but quite small for the price. We really enjoed the mortadella spiedini, something I've never had before, unique and tasty! Every staff member we encountered was lovely! I've never encountered so many staff in one restaurant to all be so nice. Our server Zane was amazing, a real pleasure to have serving our table. Will def go back and recommend to others BUT work on those app sizes please.

Absolutely loved dining here! The food was fantastic. Our server Adam was super friendly and knowledgeable regardjng the menu. I ordered a negroni and my partner ordered their house red (Sangiovese) and both were wonderful! Gnocco Fritto was a great starter and we also enjoyed the calamari which was some of the best I’ve ever had! Their pasta list is long and has great variety. The pappardelle is a must

Great time celebrating my birthday. Ambiance was on point, modern and clean. The building is tucked behind so unless you are searching for it, it’s easy to miss. The crowd was mixed with family with kids, older and younger groups. Food was done well, simple but delicious. Portions were on the smaller side. Service was good but the servers are new and there were some minor hiccups. They sell fresh pasta that you can take home. All in all, worth a visit.
