The food in the atmosphere was wonderful. On a Saturday night we had to wait an hour and a half for our dinner though. I’m not sure what happened there. It might not have been the servers fault. He did apologize. I would’ve wanted to know the reason.

We made reservations for two. We were seated at a small two top in the busiest passage of the service floor. There were plenty of empty tables during our visit. Our server was friendly and engaged. We ordered a bottle of wine, an artichoke salad with shrimp added and a flank steak special. The wine service was great. When the entrees came out the shrimp had a strong, foul odor that I noticed. It was my wife’s entree. She said she was glad I mentioned it and agreed that she was not inclined to eat it. The server was kind about listening and taking the bad smelling plate away. The front of house manager then came to our table and said that there was nothing wrong with the plate but would we like tonirder something else. My wife ordered a hamburger. He asked “what temperature?” She said medium. My steak dinner was getting cold, my wife encouraged me to dig in. It was good flank steak well done and over salted with about a pound of whipped mashed potatoes on the side. Oddly, there was a puddle of Italian dressing on the plate. But maybe that’s a style thing. The hamburger arrived and it was well done.y wife’s burger arrived with some lovely fried potatoes. The burger was well done. I flagged down the front of house manager and asked for a plate for the bun that my wife did not want to eat, and some mustard for my wife’s burger. The request was graciously acknowledged. half the burger later and the buns on the table, I flagged down another server and asked for mustard. Minutes later, mustard was brought to our table. they didn’t charge us for the stinky shrimp/artichoke salad. This is our third adventure at oblo. They are consistently bad at table service. The bar is excellent. The wine list is pretty good. The menu always looks promising. The front of house management is consistently bad. The execution of the menu is inconsistent, and sometimes dangerous- in my opinion.

Understaffed. While the food was good and had a nice price point, it was served cold and soggy. Owner, seat only the amount of people that your staff can support.

Fabulous experience ~ excellent service, beautifully prepared meals, yummy inventive cocktails, well-priced wine list and charming ambience. Perfect for a birthday!

My wife and I had dinner at Oblo on Friday evening 2/28/2025. The restaurant was close to full and quite lively. Good overall energy and vibe. Our meal was very good. My wife had the lasagna which was very well prepared and a huge portion. I had the chicken special (stuffed with prosciutto and cheese) which was outstanding. Nice wine and cocktail list with plenty of good options to choose from. Service was courteous and reasonably attentive. A tad bit on the slow side but certainly not enough to detract from the overall dining experience. Definitely will be back!

Food not great. Fish was fried instead of baked. Meatballs s little odd. Nice waitress. Pretty interior style and ambiance.

We went there for a Valentine's Day dinner and it was wonderful.Service was friendly and professional. Food was excellent.The seafood pasta was delicious- good variety of seafood cooked perfectly. Generous portion. Also recommended is the bruschetta and the chocolate fantasy dessert. Ambiance was great. Care was taken with the acoustics so you could actually converse without raising your voice. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially for special occasions.
