We were seated quickly once arriving. Our food was great, we ordered the lasagna bolognese and a pizza. The lychee martini was quite strong but manageable. Our waiter Nico was very attentive and polite. Overall such a great experience and will be coming back.

Everyone it was extremely friendly. They were able to accommodate us by getting us a table once we arrived even though we had a reservation for the bar. Thank you!

Good food, good service! The space was smaller than I anticipated so I can imagine if busy it would have been loud, but it was not too busy for us! Would go back.

My husband and I dined here hoping for a relaxed date night. Relaxed was beyond what we received. Our table wasn’t ready inside so we were invited to wait at the bar or sit outside. Slightly after getting seated a very large party arrived and their table also was not ready. As a result they asked the party to wait outside directly within less than arms length of my husband and I’s table. Needless to say it became very difficult to enjoy or hear our own conversation over the loudness of the crowd. As far as the actual food, it was OK. The calamari was crispy and Caesar salad was fine. However, we waited long periods and even had to request refills on our water. Our cacio e Pepe was watery to say the least. So much so, hot liquid flung from the cheese bowl onto me as the server prepared it for our plates. The taste was very bland. Overall as we observed other issues with the service experienced by other tables we realized there is likely a management issue. Not sure if we caught them on a bad night but I won’t be returning.

We were there for a Birthday dinner and were a party of 7. When done with dinner the server came up to us and asked us to leave because they needed our table for another reservation even though we also made a reservation. This was asked right after we had just completed singing “Happy Birthday” and were still eating the dessert. We just felt rushed to leave even though we were trying to have a calm night.

The lasagna and the pappardelle bolognese were delicious. The wine selection was amazing and bonus, we were thee on Christmas Eve and all bottles were half off. We had an amazing Brunello. I am still joyfully looking for a Cacio e Pepe dish in HTX that rivals that in Italy. This offering does not make the cut. There was a thickening base to the dish and the cheese and butter were not prevalent. The tiramisu was awesome and had a surprising service. The servers were attentive and prompt.

This is my favorite new find. Authentic Italian cuisine, fresh ingredients, great service, full bar. Need i say more !?

Dinner with friends at Numero28 was fantastic, it was our first time to dine in and we really enjoyed enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the level of service. Their pasta dishes were great! And who knew there were such great specials on bottled wines on Tuesdays? We will return again for sure, yummo!
