Had a birthday brunch for my girlfriends and the food was amazing, lots of gluten-free options and the chef was very meticulous about our food allergies to nuts. I gave this place a five star and yes, I am coming back. The pasta was amazing !!

                                                                                                                                                                It was a Sunday night and we had a 6:15 reservation. We were seated immediately, but then service was VERY slow. They were out of lasagna. Every menu item I asked about, the server had a negative reaction. Then, for dessert, I ordered an affogato. Coffee comes from the bar and gelato from the kitchen. It took forever to be served because, “the kitchen and bar don’t talk or coordinate.” The dinner was 2 hours long. I won’t go back.

                                                                                                                                                                Where was the management on Friday, 12/6? I had raved about North Italia to a friend I treated for her birthday (which I also noted on OpenTable, yet there was no acknowledgment). We had a 7:30 reservation. Upon arriving, I noticed the restroom was out of both toilet paper and paper towels, which I informed the host about. Once seated, we were placed near the patio door where people were constantly coming and going. While we managed by keeping our jackets on despite the 32-degree weather, the real issue was the poor service. Our server brought us the wrong pizza, and we ultimately decided not to exchange it. Drinks took an excessively long time—not because of the bartender, but because our server delayed bringing them. We eventually went to the bar to get them ourselves. For the price point, I expected a far better experience. This felt more like a night at Chili’s than a visit to North Italia. I’m hesitant to return, though I might consider trying lunch instead.

                                                                                                                                                                Excellent experience for a ladies' luncheon. The food was well prepared, the server was very cordial and accommodating to our special request....but most importantly you could conduct a conversation in a normal voice and actually hear each other!!! Great experience overall, I encourage you to give them a try.

                                                                                                                                                                We were excited to try North Italia ever since hearing positive comments by a family member and friend. Our experience was simply just OK. There was nothing stellar about our dining experience whatsoever and we would not venture back based upon it. First, it felt like our server was simply going through the motions when she first introduced herself and immediately asked if she could get us anything to drink or, perhaps an appetizer. We hadn't even had time to peruse the menu when she approached the table. There was no enthusiasm nor any mention of the evening's specials or dishes that were highly recommended--particularly after mentioning that this was our first time to this establishment. It took more than 20 minutes from the time we ordered our drinks until they arrived table side. For dinner I ordered the Bolognese Pasta, their "house specialty". I thought that dish was good, but for the price the portion was quite small. Similarly, I ordered a half of the Caesar Salad and that was the smallest salad I've ever had. My wife had a salad accompanied by salmon. She said the salmon was tasty and prepared well, but the salad portion itself was, again, on the small side. There was definitely a theme going--the food portions are on the small side. Typically, this would not bother me but for the fact that the prices are not in line with the portion sizes. The atmosphere is nice and one could actually have a conversation with those at the table without straining. However, all in all, it was a very mediocre experience. There are too many other better caliber Italian restaurants in the area than to turn to North Italia.

                                                                                                                                                                We really liked the food and the atmosphere. The service was not as good, but not bad either. This is the best Italian food we have found in the Atlanta area.

                                                                                                                                                                This was our first time at North Italia and we really liked it. The only thing that was odd to us is that our salads and entrees were served at the same time. It never occurred to me to ask the server to bring them separately, and she didn’t ask. I’ll remember to request that on our next visit!

                                                                                                                                                                The margarita pizza I ordered needed to have a crispier crust….it was soggy. Everything else was delicious. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. Service was superb.
