   Everything was great but sadly sat beside a toddler and it wasn’t the most enjoyable for a moms night out and a restaurant of that calibre (understand you can’t deny young children but sad that others can’t take them to places Such as BP as it does make the atmosphere of a restaurant like that more unenjoyable) but overall everything was great!

   North has never disappointed. The food is always great and the staff are very friendly.

   We have been to the North for two date nights. The food is great, however, it’s really loud in the restaurant, not really ideal for an intimate date night. It would be nice if they offered a couples night, even once a month that allowed couples to have a romantic date night. They need some softer music and better seating for couples as well. Overall, the North is nice but we won’t be coming back for date night.

   Hi Fallon, Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I'm sorry to hear that your date nights were disappointing. Our peak hours tend to be from about 5:30 through 7:30 and with a variety of guests, unfortunately, it will sometimes it get a little loud. However, we have many couples come to enjoy their date nights and they are usually very happy. We do take seating requests into consideration, so, if you choose to come for a date in the future, I recommend requesting a more intimate space such as a booth. Another option would be dining outside of peak hours. If you are looking for a quieter environment, I would suggest booking a reservation later in the evening for a more intimate experience. Our quieter times tend to be from around 8:00 pm until we close at 10:00 pm. Cheers, Samantha

   Very slow service. Drinks from the bar took awhile. Server wasn’t attentive as the restaurant was busy. Food was good.

   out for an anniversary dinner, food came quite quickly, server was mostly inattentive, never came back after main dish was served until time to pay. not being our first time there, food was consistent and tasty

   Went out to celebrate 3 family birthdays. It was a full house with a large party. Very quick to be seated but a very long time to get water, appies, drinks, food, etc. Food was great as always. Got the three peoples birthday desserts to go and was surprised to be charged. Regardless, a time was had by all.

   Hi Veronica For guests who have the benefit of friendship with management, it’s disappointing to hear that your evening was unsatisfactory- I would have loved to immediately improve your experience. While we often allow servers discretion to offer a sticky toffee pudding or brûlée to guests celebrating after dining on their birthdate, it is not a promotional practice we adhere to and therefore do not advertise or guarantee this to our guests. I would have loved to treat you, however, due to illness, I was unable to finish out the evening and was unavailable to approve a discount for your special occasion.     Where we have always enjoyed the food prior to this visit, I was disappointed in my appie and my entree. North Bar and Grill, has been the best place in town for top of the notch food. My appie was roasted veggies on flatbread, which I’ve had before, this time it was served on some type of cracker, not flatbread. My entree was Chicken Parmesan, the chicken was cooked perfectly, the marinara sauce was non existent on the chicken, and some kind of poor substitute on the linguini. I’m not sure we can justify another visit. For the cost, we expect more. So disappointing.
