We loved our first time at north 40 chop house so much we decided to make reservations for New Years Eve. We knew there was a pre-set menu but didn’t realize there would be very few even only one option for things. For $125 a person I expected a couple options for each course. Our waitress was stressed and definitely made us feel like an inconvenience. On top of that the band was warming up. Overall it was not a great experience, especially since our first time was phenomenal! It was like night and day difference. We will give them another try not on a holiday, but will never come again on New Years Eve.

Taking my mom here for her first time was amazing. The entire staff went above & beyond, which is hard to find these days. You will not be disappointed at the North 40!

Excellent as always. Outstanding food, service, staff - all around wonderful experience. So fun to see it all decorated at Christmas time.

North platte NE is fortunate to have this caliber of steakhouse. Solid menu, reasonably priced drinks, attentive service, outstanding cuts of dry and wet aged prime, classy bar, pianist, and some unique items (expertly prepared lemon rasperry souffle). You find yourself within 60 miles of NP, make a reservation.

I loved this restaurant when they first opened but since they have increased their prices. Tonight we had a waiter that only dropped off food and a check my steak was 90% fat for $79. I normally love the atmosphere and food but something was just off about tonight’s dinner and service

Excellent food. Impeccable service. Ambience perfect. Some guest were dressed in business casual and some casual. We started the evening being served champagne, had great wine to go with our dinner and finished off with dessert with espresso. We will definitely return as this is truly a great restaurant.
