Located off of Sand Lake Road, along the city's famed "Restaurant Row", NORMAN’S was recently voted BEST Restaurant in the 2024 Readers Choice Dining Awards by Orlando Magazine. Also named as the TOP Florida Restaurant in 2024 by Southern Living Magazine!

Norman Van Aken is a restaurateur, chef, author, and James Beard recipient of “Who’s Who in America" regarded as the “Founder” of New World Cuisine.”

Our restaurant offers a creative culinary and mixology experience, including an extensive wine list. We offer our main dining room, two private dining rooms, and our interior bar/lounge. Our elegant, covered Terrace offers alfresco dining, with live music on Friday nights, & a DJ on Friday/Saturday.

HAPPY HOUR Mon-Friday from 5:00- 7:00PM, $10 Cocktails, $8 wines by the glass & various Tapas creations. DRESS CODE:
Dining Room: Smart Casual/ Smart Dress (jackets are not required)

Norman's is where you go for a unique food experience where the dishes are creative and tasty. A step above a typical fine dining restaurant like Morton's, Capital Grille etc.

This is a special occasion restaurant. Prices are a bit higher than expected, but the food is amazing. Drink prices were very high, and the wine list had many more high end wines than affordable wines. It seemed tailored to expense account guests. But each dish coming out of the kitchen was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Our tenderloins were cooked exactly as requested, and accompanying sides were delicious. I will dine there again.

Experience was better the second time. The food was good, the ambience was good, however the lighting could have been better. I had to use my phone flash light to read the menu.

Our server was busy, but did his best. Drinks great. The food was okay. The crispy shrimp was a delight, though my crab beignet were soggy.

We had a wonderful meal at Normans where the menu's creativity is paired with an exceptional level of service from the entire staff. This was our second visit and we find the fusion dishes combine unconventional ingredients in a way that makes the dining experience fun. We found this throughout the meal with squid-ink chips setting off the octopus, white-chocolate mole accompanying the lamb, and a pumpkin-caramel filling in our dessert. The service we received was exceptional and attentive or out individual needs without every feeling stuffy. I highly recommend for an upscale experience in Orlando.
