Experience Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's world renowned cuisine in Indian Wells.
Overlooking Stadium 2 in the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, guests can enjoy intimate ambiance. Indulge in Chef Nobu's famous signature dishes including Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño, Rock Shrimp Tempura and Black Cod Miso as well as traditional Japanese favorites and sushi.

Our server did a wonderful job, especially in explaining the details of each dish. Also the food was terrific. We will be back for sure.

This was our first time. The food was quite good and interesting— much different from a usual sushi restaurant. The service was somewhat disjointed— there were loads of staff, but it was unclear who was responsible for our table. The person who helped the most, an Asian lady, was very good, but the other staff person assigned to us did not come by too often to ask if we needed anything. One curious thing: we stated on our OpenTable reservation that it was my wife’s birthday. They brought the dessert with birthday wishes written in chocolate but charged us for the dessert. Odd since every other restaurant we’ve ever dined in always comped a birthday dessert. No biggie, but it seemed cheap to me. I’d certainly recommend Nobu for a special occasion dinner. Just don’t gasp when you get the bill. Personally, while the food was good, the cost of the meal, at least for me, did not justify the cost of the dinner. But as I stated, if you want an interesting experience and want to impress someone, Nobu is worth considering. When next I have a special occasion, I’ll probably be back to try it again, but not on a regular basis.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary by visiting our first Nobu. We both loved the black cod, shishito peppers, garlic edamame, spicy yellowtail sushi and date cake (so many great textures and tastes). I had the non-alcoholic Placebo expresso drink and he had the lychee pineapple drink. Loved the hospitality from the valets, security, servers, bartender and manager. Will return.

This was our third visit to this Nobu, but maybe our least favorite. The service was very slow. There were times we wanted to order more drinks or just ask for the check and our waitress was no where to be found. We ended up being helped by another server. The food took forever to come out, sometimes waiting ~15-20 minutes between courses although we placed the order all together. It didn’t seem busy at all, if it were I would have understood the slow service. The food was of course amazing and they even served the happy hour menu in the regular dining room, which had some great options that the regular menu didn’t have. The drinks were also spot on. We were celebrating a birthday, which we put in our reservation comments and confirmed with the hostess as we checked in, but there’s was no mention of the occasion throughout the entire meal and dessert which was disappointing.

AMAZING!!!! Everything about the evening was wonderful! The service, starting with the valet staff, security, etc., all the way to the hosts and wait staff, are 10 Star quality. Then of course, there's the food. So delicious- creative recipes, using seasonings very unfamiliar to us and a wide variety of amazing food fares. Can't wait to go again!

Food was solid, server was aloof. Don’t be a waiter if you think the work is beneath you. Adequate but inattentive service.

Understanding that this Nobu isn’t the same from an ambience standpoint, compared to NYC and Malibu, we would put it on par with San Diego. But, the food is still on par!

Usually service is great. But seemed off. Very slow. Hot food not so hot. Slow. Noise was very loud. Great food. Usually amazing service. Maybe just a bad night.

Heaters weren’t available on patio dining. Not sure if this is always. Hopefully not. Otherwise, excellent as always.
