NIKU X offers 2 exclusive unlimited dining experiences that highlight Wagyu and Luxury Seafood, located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Our BBQ Dining features 2 different tiers of unlimited A5 wagyu to be grilled by guests as well as our Seafood Buffet, where families and friends can enjoy an interactive dining style.
Our other experience features our 40oz Wagyu Tomahawk highlighted by our table side flame ritual. Here guests can enjoy an intimate atmosphere while still enjoying our Seafood buffet as well as our signature unlimited items.

40oz Wagyu Tomahawk Ritual Experience for 2

**This experience differs from our standard unlimited experience.** If you are looking for our standard unlimited steak experience, please proceed with a standard reservation. This special menu features our 40 oz large-format Wagyu Tomahawk that serves 2 guests. While other steak cuts will be limited, you will have full access to our seafood buffet and can order unlimited hot signature items from the kitchen. To enhance your experience, you'll also enjoy a special tableside flame ritual. Priced at $280 for 2 guests enjoying a Fresh Wagyu Tomahawk, and $320 for our Dry Aged Wagyu Tomahawk. Additional charges will be applied for additional guests. Please select 1 type of tomahawk menu option for every 2 guests in the reservation.

Our Standard BBQ menu is a 120 minute, self-service experience with grilling features where guests can enjoy our unlimited Fresh A5 Wagyu Steaks and our luxury buffet line that features king crab, lobster tails, fresh sushi items and more. Guests can also choose from a variety of delicious side dishes plated by our chefs to complement their grilled wagyu. This interactive and social dining experience is available for $99 Monday-Thurdsay and $109 Friday-Sunday. A fee of 30% cost of menu price will be added to tables who have excessive left over food.

Miso glazed and cooked to perfection.
Wagyu Tallow Shishito Pepper
Cooked in wagyu tallow and our yakiniku sauce. Topped with bonito flakes.
Oxtail Potsticker
Hand wrapped, braised wagyu oxtail. Topped with yakiniku sauce and served with karashi Japanese mustard.
Potato Pave
Thinly sliced potatoes layered with parmesean, chive, and butter, cut and fried. Served with our sweet shoyu crème fraîche.
A5 Wagyu Katsu Sando
A5 top sirloin katsu on shokupan and topped with katsu sauce.
A5 Wagyu Yaki Udon
A5 Wagyu Udon cooked in our house made stir fry sauce with broccoli.

Seafood buffet and chef items were amazing. We had the Tomahawk and it was good but didn’t blow my mind. We had a 9pm reservation, go there at 850pm and we didn’t get seated until 1010pm.after a few complaints, we got complementary drinks but the extra hour wait was too much.

Food was subpar and not worth the price. Much of what we had outside of the buffet was cold and clearly sitting vs being fresh. The steak was poorly prepared. The seafood and sushi were not fresh. We had the tomahawk and that was a cool experience and the flavor was better than the other steaks. The worst was when I became very sick the next morning.

Mike was our server for the second time and although he was a nice guy, he is horrible at serving. He doesn’t seem to know the menu at all or what we’re liking for. There was no recommendation for the menu pro to we options. He had to call the manager twice. He’s very forgetful and doesn’t offer anything other than what we ordered. Both times, they forget to bring some of the things we ordered. It’s crazy that for a fine dining restaurant, they have someone who is not as attentive as he should be. We never got a last call and we didn’t offer if we wanted to order to any wagyu steaks for the extra menu we added on. We will not be returning after this second time.

All the seafood was salty had to drink at least 5 cups of water. The meats were okay and server forgot a couple of times.

It was a very nice experience. I was a little bit disappointed with how thin the steaks were but the flavor and texture was great. I also did not expect cold crab legs. The flavor was good but the cold temperature is not for me. I personally like hot crab legs. Towards the end of the meal service kind of slowed down. We wanted to order more food before we left but our waiter didn’t come around as much as the beginning. He was great when we first got there and took his time describing how everything works. I also didn’t see an option for the $139 experience when i made the reservation so we didn’t get a table with a grill in the middle for grilling the wagyu ourselves. The only thing available to choose was the tomahawk experience which we didn’t want to do. We drove from San Bernardino to try this out and i think we both gave it around a 7/10 just because of the points above.

First time experiencing this restaurant and I must say the hype was not wrong. Definitely coming back again!

This experience was not worth the price for the following reasons: 1) We had an emergency and were late to our reservation. They charged us for this time and did not give us the full time to eat 2) The meat has literal NERVES in it. This is not A5 Wagyu. It was not good quality, smooth meat. If I am paying $99 for a meal, I expect the meat to be worth the price. This was not fine dining 3) The service was incredibly slow, and the staff was rude. It took out waiter 25 minutes to prepare meat we ordered (it took him 1 minute to do it in front of us, but he kept pushing us last). The woman at the front desk was also not very accommodating. She was extremely condescending. I wouldn’t spend my money here.
