Nikkei features Japanese-Peruvian styled share plates alongside a 40-strong wine list and Peruvian and Japanese-inspired cocktails.
Nikkei are people from Japan and their descendants that live in a foreign country. It also specifically refers to the cuisine of the Japanese-Peruvians which started more than a century ago when the first Japanese immigrated to Peru in the late 1890s, combining Japanese techniques and flavours with Peruvian produce.
We look forward to sharing Nikkei with you.

quite simply a delicious meal, one of our lifetime's Top 10 ever. The flavours were exquisite and unique, a mix of delicate and bold. From starters to deserts it was fantastic. Service was both professional and friendly, a rare mix. Like the food ,the drinks menu was interesting and diverse catering across both alcohol and more healthier options. The room had a warm and hip feeling. The perfect place to celebrate, whether a special occasion, good friends or searching out great food

Starters are great, in particular the kingfish tiradito and the sweet corn. Highly recommend.

Great experience with my auntie who is Peruvian. Food was absolutely amazing. Got 2 $95 set menus. Had to order the brocolini again from the carte. I'm on the chase of The perfect pisco sour, the one from here was close but not it. Drinks are up from $20 and not all were worth it (maracuya). Looking forward going again.

Had the snacks set menu and was enough for all of us. Recommended was was great and we found the prices to be very reasonable. The food was a real delight, great flavours, excellent presentation and attentive service. Will definitely be back.

The service was excellent but the cuisine just wasn’t for us. Atmosphere was okay but was noisy from the other guests.

The food was great quality and had very unique flavours. There was a balance between savoury, sour and smoky. The yakimochi was especially good.

Beautiful, creative food with such interesting fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines. Loved every single thing we ate/drank. Staff were friendly and attentive, and always available to explain ingredients we hadn’t heard of before.

I have never tried Peruvian cuisine before, and I was pleasantly surprised by the food served at Nikkei Bar and Restaurant. The food was presented beautifully and tasted as good as it looked. The service was excellent. Highly recommended.
