Naschmarkt (NASH-MARKed) is a family-owned and operated premier and authentic restaurant that has been proudly serving the Campbell area and beyond since June 2011. Since then, our mission has been to provide high-quality food for all those that wish to combine fun and enjoyable ambiance with skillful cooking into one extraordinary dining experience.

The restaurant is named after the largest open-air produce market in Vienna, Austria. Austria’s history and geography influence much of its cuisine. Austria was once the center of the large Austro-Hungarian Empire stretching from France to Russia and from the Baltic Sea to Turkey, imparting a varied heritage to Austria's cuisine. Located in the center of Europe, Austria’s modern-day cuisine is influenced by surrounding countries like Germany, Hungary, Italy, and even France.

Despite living nearby, this was my first visit. I was pleasantly surprised with the menu, a nice blend of a few of the traditional Austrian favorites and a more fusion approach of Italian, local ingredients and Central European cooking. Excellent wine list as well, with a similar vibe - 1/3 Austrian wines and 2/3 very good California choices. Overall, I think they've struck a great balance between genuine Austrian food and a menu with choices that will please a group not looking for a purely Austrian experience.

Second Thanksgiving dinner at Naschmarkt, and I have eaten there for birthdays. They have a well-thought-out menu, and they serve high-quality, tasty food. I recommend them for special occasions and any occasions.

Excellence all around, delicious & authentic cuisine, the veal schnitzel was amazing as always. The service was top in terms of attention, gracious, friendly welcome, quick to respond to any request and cozy delightful venue! A real gem in Palo Alto. Our favorite to have a lovely meal! Thank you team!! We certainly will be back again & again!!

Terrific as always. Love the schnitzel & special spätzle, strudel & dessert soufflé. Service outstanding. Our friends had the goulash, their favorite.

Naschmarkt is my family’s favorite restaurant. The menu is nicely varied and changes are made for the season. The food is always excellent and desserts are unique and very delicious. The cocktail menu is the best and Eric at the bar can’t be beat. I highly recommend Naschmarkt.

We have enjoyed this restaurant enormously in the past - but it has clearly changed. Although the food remains very good, the service was poor, it was extremely noisy to the point we could not hear each other, and the experience was overall disappointing. Hopefully this was a one-off experience as it would be a shame to strike this off our list.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we can't wait to go again. The service is exceptional. We ordered the classic Weiner schnitzel , the Jager Weiner schnitzel and the goulash. All were yummy. We started with the pretzel appetizer and ended with the apple strudel. Wine prices were reasonable. Overall it was a very good experience and we would recommend to to others.
