Nami Nori is a casual, award. winning, temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls. Our menu features signature temaki, including crunchy varieties, as well as takes on the classics and a special vegan section. The open-style temaki allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of flavors, in each fun-to-eat, visually tempting bite.

We also serve Japanese-inspired snacks and appetizers, along with a selection of beer, sake and wine, available on tap and by the bottle. Nami Nori is a casual yet elegant temaki bar offering guests a unique sushi dining experience in Williamsburg. Coming from the rarified Japanese restaurants in which they trained, partners Taka Sakaeda, Jihan Lee and Lisa Limb envisioned Nami Nori to be a more inclusive place that balances accessibility with a dedication to quality and creativity with a respect for traditional techniques.

The food was amazing, everything was very good & you pay for the quality of the fish, which still didn’t seem like too much.. but the second we walked in we had a reservation, table wasn’t ready, we waited for over 5 minutes standing while the host kind of just wandered and didn’t set the table that was right in front of us (it’s a small place) then after we sat we waiting over 15 minutes for our waiter, now he was sweet, but not $98 worth of service charge sweet. We had to call him several times because the attention was just not there, if I’m paying a $600 tab, treat me a little better and give a little bit more attention. I understand Friday nights get busy, but if you’re “Pharrell’s” restaurant, get more servers so that the service can be a bit more up to par with the food.. a little disappointed with the service. Overall great food, just think the attention should shift a bit.

The food is consistently excellent, and the service is attentive. The concept is really interesting and well done. It is, by Miami standards, not as unreasonably priced as most competition. If yelp allowed half stars I would give 4.5.

Most amazing! Tenaki choices are abundant. They are presented artistically with great attention to detail and each one is a gustatory delight. Our server Ethan is always attentive with extensive experience in hospitality. Dining at NAMI NORI is always an exceptional treat.

Great food, slow service. So you decide which is more important. Apps came out one at a time. We waited an hour for our mains. And even then the server forgot to bring us our nori rolls so we couldn’t begin eating. Second time here. Probably the last time.

Wcerything was great . Food was delicious. Service was great. But we sat outside and there was no shade. Definitely need to invest in massive umbrellas before summer comes along
