At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. Our ales come from the excellent local microbreweries and are of a very high quality. We offer a range of good quality wines and spirits to compliment our menu.

Good attentive service. Everyone enjoyed their food. Would certainly visit this place again. Easy to park and nice surroundings also if you’re a little early. Ambience was great - so good we had 3 courses and enjoyed all of them!

This is the most beautiful pub I’ve been to. It’s so cosy and welcoming. The staff are lovely and friendly. The food is amazing. We happened to fall upon this pub on the way to find a waterfall and I’m so pleased we did. Highly recommended

New years eve evening meal. It was very busy as expected, we arrived arrived 10 minutes early, our table wasn't ready, but had a drink at the bar. Were shown to our table by a friendly member of staff. The starters arrived in good time. The scallops & prawns were delicious. As a main my beef Wellington was delicious- the beef was cooked perfectly. As was my husbands steak. My daughter had the cod & risotto which also looked amazing. The staff were very attentive- asking if everything was OK with the meal & did we need any more drinks. Puddings were also delicious- the cheesecake was lovely, possibly a bit on the too big size. It was a wonderful evening, even though it was really busy, we did not feel rushed , all the staff worked extremelyhard & the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere .

Welcoming restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food from local suppliers and a wide range of beers as well as other drinks. Great service too. I was excited to order gluten free fish and chips which was delicious!

Another fabulous meal at the nags head ! mixed small starters great fun , perfectly performed . Lamb Tagliatelle rich and very tasty , Malteser ice cream sundae classic , great beers , and lovely wine list , perfect service and atmosphere , can`t fault ! and over all really good value Many Thanks again !

We had a lovely Sunday lunch ,all home cooked ,nice and hot and plenty of it. Will definitely go back again.
