Nagomi is the first Korean / Japanese restaurant in the Cotswolds & Gloucestershire offering an indoor smokeless table bbq & hot pot experience (we use the world leading yakiniku table grill from Japan). This is massively popular in Japan, Korea, London and the USA, so come and try it out !!

We also have a great selection of authentic Japanese & Korean dishes + sushi rolls cooked from scratch in the kitchen, if you don't fancy DIY grilling. We have separate Gluten Free and Vegetarian/Vegan menus available.

All of our dishes have been taught to us by Korean and Japanese chefs, so that we can give you the most authentic experience possible.

Our atmosphere is relaxed and fun, so that you can enjoy your time with us. A lot of our interior artwork, laterns & signage has been imported from Japan & Korea, just make you feel as though you could be dining in Osaka, Japan, or Hongdae, Korea !!

Service was very poor and non existent, food cold and tasteless. Ran out of the drinks we wanted overall a complete waste of time and money

I took my wife to Nagomi in Cheltenham for the 1st time for her birthday. The food is full of flavour and the portion sizes are very good. The Takoyaki is incredible! We had the Korean hot pot with a few sides and were tucking away at it for well over an hour. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Combining the quality food, great service and the amazing Japanese aesthetic, we'll definitely be going back again to try out the rest of the menu.

It was a pleasant experience. The only thing is that. I had rang the restaurant a week before my table was booked to let them know about my wife's birthday. They took note of it, but there was no acknowledgement of this fact on our arrival. The restaurant manager was too busy dealing with other guests. They also run out of vanilla ice cream and sushi on this Saturday evening. This is not a complain, but just a general comment. All in all the service was good and the food was nice.

This was our first time at Nagomi and we loved it. We each tried several dishes including the salmon sushi, Korean chicken and okonomiyaki. There was so much choice and the setting was lovely. We will definitely be coming back!

When first entering, be aware of the hanging "tapestry" OVER stairs. While ducking to miss "tapestry" almost missed the stairs! Other than that, our first visit and late lunch. Wait staff was very attentive and and asked specific questions which made our dining experience better. Two starters and two mains, starters were a 3 and mains a 4. Mains came out before the starters by about 3 minutes. Toilets were freezing cold but they have amazing seat warmers. Will go again, everyone deserves a second chance.

Hi Jean, Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. The fabric is a Noren Curtain that we imported from Japan - these are traditionally hung in restaurant and shop entrances all over Japan. Today we have placed 'CAUTION - STEPS' signage. Thank you for pointing out a possible safety issue. We don't serve starters and mains, although we try to get the small plates out first. This style of service is quite popular now and our customers are becoming accustomed to it. No excuse for the toilets - we have new radiators being installed next week !! We hope you can give us a try again 😁🙂

A very odd menu. Unnecessarily confusing. After ordering I was told I couldn't have what I ordered because they only offer that option for 2 people. It didn't say that on the menu nor was that explained. Had we known that we both would have ordered something different. I didn't like what I ended up ordering. Strange place. Won't be back.

Not that great service. We didn’t get change back which actually annoyed me since service was included and we’d paid it. Food portions were absolutely tiny and really expensive for what we got. Didn’t really get an explanation to what to do. Salad was left on table and again didn’t know how things worked. Expected to use same tongs for different meat which is a no no. Really nice looking restaurant and great fun idea but derive is not great at all

My boyfriend and I visited for the first time. It was a great experience! We shared a mixed platter and some sides which all tasted amazing! The corndogs were amazing, great cheese pull on those. Would definitely recommend.
