Located in Lander, Wyoming near the foothills of the Wind River Range, Mulino is a small town Bistro with big city inspiration. Chef/Sommelier team Joe and Angela Hammer of Philadelphia are at the helm, creating dining experiences for Lander's locals, adventure seekers and tourists passing through town.
The menu offers seasonal flavors and showcases local ingredients as often as possible. Chef/Owner Joe Hammer utilizes a classic background training in French culinary arts to craft fare that is comfortably approachable, yet exciting and adventurous for those who wish to wander off the beaten path. A frequently rotating international wine list, seasonal specialty cocktail menu and local beer selection keeps the beverage program fresh, while appealing to a wide range of palates and price points.

We had a reservation for 3 people at 5:00. We stood in line to wait our turn to be seated (we were the 4th group). As soon as we approached the hostess, she took a phone call for someone making a reservation for the next day. We felt totally ignored by the hostess. A girl came up to help us, and the hostess waved her away. What is the point of a reservation if you are dismissed for a phone call.

They ran out of the main protein and couldn’t substitute anything. This was a special menu but running out 2 hours after opening should not happen. We have given them several tries and this will be our last.

First time here and it was very good. Had truffle fries, rigatoni and an old fashioned and everything was great.

Absolutely the only place to eat in Lander for Date night. Joe the chef is a magician and the cocktails designed by Angie are next level. Easily the most original cocktail menu in Wyoming.

The crab-corn dip with house-made tortilla chips (flour) was excellent! We both ordered the short ribs and were similarly delighted and satisfied. This is a wonderful gem of a restaurant in this fantastic little town. Love this!

Mulino’s was recommended by a friend. We took the drive just to have supper. It was absolutely worth the two hour drive! Everything was homemade and delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return!!!

We have been to this restaurant several times before when the food was mediocre. The food last night exceeded out expectations. I had the lobster bucatini. The online menu was not the same as the menu we were given at the restaurant. The pasta and vegetables were cooked to perfection in a wonder sauce. I highly recommend this dish. My husband had the tenderloin. Again, it was wonderful….but not what was on the online menu. His steak came with carmalized carrots which were excellent. Bottom line, Mulinos food has improved since they opened.

Fantastic, authentic Italian dishes. The owners and staff are all very friendly. They were a bit understaffed so we waited too long for our cocktails and wine (I don’t mind waiting for food…but my drinks!!). Despite this I would highly recommend this restaurant!
