Do you want chilled vibes, delicious food and a great view? If the answer is yes, try Muddy Beach Cafe Penryn.

Couples, families, and even four-legged friends are welcome here from morning to midnight. Muddy Beach has a large indoor area for those chillier times and a lovely spacious outdoor area overlooking the Penryn River for when the days are warm and evenings long drawn out.

Muddy Beach offers brunch and dinner and sometimes hosting feature themed events like Paella Nights, Boozy Brunch, Foodie Nights etc. It has a great selection of wines, cocktails, and coffees so what more could you want…?

Booked a table with my son and daughter for 7.15, surprisingly quiet evening - only 2 other tables. Music was random - rock, pop then heavy guitar. Food was good but I think perhaps as it was quiet there was a feeling the floor staff wanted to wrap up and finish early. I felt rushed to order and as we weren’t quite ready as we wanted a drink first - I felt like the staff member was inconvenienced. This member of staff didn’t even smile once. Hospitality is all about service!

My partner and i went here for boozy tapas night for my birthday, when we walked in it was a lovely atmosphere and we were seated quickly. Music playing, food was outstanding and the cocktails were amazing with the rum punch had these quirky cups to drink out of. Staff made sure everything was spot on and that we had plenty of drinks, it was an amazing night and will definitely be going back.

Such a great night out with the special Cocktails and tapas event! Superb food and amazing drinks, at incredible value, we couldn’t have eaten/ drink any more and it was all the better for the fun atmosphere and super friendly and helpful staff. Can’t wait for the next one!

Amazing food! Absolutely loved the Valentines menu specials and the wine was excellent. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The ambience was gorgeous with candles, rose petals and a great playlist. Definitely returning again soon

Absolutely wonderful food, and service. First visit in a couple of years but still top notch and definitely worth a visit. Great open terrace for outside dining in good weather. Very dog friendly. Accessible route for those who require it. Pay & display car park just opposite and free street parking for 2 hours on the main approach road just before the restaurant

Honestly, it was fabulous to see Muddy Beach buzzing on a cold Sunday in January. The greeter could have been a little warmer, but our server was charming. The food was delicious and great value for money. I can recommend the theme nights.
