We visit Mr. B's every other year or so, and it's always great. This time my wife and I split the wedge salad, she had a filet, and I ordered the NY. Steaks for great. Service was a bit slow, and after carefully examining the wine last at home, checking many many bottles via my Wine Spectator account, it turned out that none of the 4 wines I chose were available. One was a Bordeaux, and they had only 1 of the 6 Bordeaux wines available that were on their list. The Zin I wanted wasn't available either. So, we ordered wines by the glass. I ordered a drink and then a glass of wine to be served with dinner. The glass of wine came 5 minutes after the dinner was served (a personal pet peeve of mine. Overall, the meal was great, but the wine and service issues thwarted perfection.

Disappointed they did not have the cauliflower steak on the menu and were out Trefethen Chardonnay but we made do with the pasta dish and a nice red wine.

The drinks were great. The appetizer was very good. and the meal was also very good. The wine list needs to be updated...we ordered a 2019 and got a 2022. It didn't have the same character. We will be back!

We love going to Mr B’s It’s a great place but is pricey. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 on all this time was due to management .. it’s a busy time of year, the place was really busy but they only had one bartender on staff and she was doing her best to keep up, the manager finally stepped in to help and the other staff took some of her tables. We still tipped as we always do but gave the bartender an extra something because she was clearly working hard at both taking orders for food AND bartending.
