    We had a wonderful Christmas dinner. As usual Morton’s did not disappoint. Always consistent in quality and service.

    Our family booked Morton's for a special family dinner on Christmas Day. Our server was very helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. Unfortunately, there was a guest who was screaming and making a scene for about 30 minutes... This was very disruptive to everyone trying to enjoy a high end Christmas dinner experience. I have to say I am disappointed in the way the management team handled the situation and allowed it to continue without concern for the ambiance of the restaurant. Again, our server was great and mistakes happen but he dropped a glass that broke on our table and we had to leave and wait at the bar while they reset the table. Again, we were very understanding and patiently waited. The server also brought us a complementary dessert. I do think this is another situation were the management team should have visited our table to check in and see if there was anything that could be done to improve our experience... but nothing. Again, great food and service but it seems the management team is absent and not attentive to guests.

    In short, wasn’t a Morton’s experience. From reception to exit it was below expectations. We come to Morton’s for a “5” experience and yesterday was an overall “3”.

    Service and drinks were terrible. Smoked old fashion was not smoked when served first time. After we asked they fixed it, second round of smoked old fashion was not even old fashion it was just a dump of whiskey not much bitter or sugar.

    Sat at bar -told bartender it was my birthday dinner. She understood - only 1 other person at the bar. She was very inattentive, nearly impossible to get her attention. I only got a glass of water 10 minutes of seating! A second bartender came, and she was somewhat better and more friendly. Overall service was poor to fair. Food was good. Very expensive venue, which I knew already. At least $50 per person on average, could be much higher.

    It was not the typical Morton’s experience. They misjudged inventory because they said they were busier than usual on Saturday, so they were out of main staples like their famous bread. They also were out of some champagnes we wanted. The steaks were also a bit undercooked. All in all they just seemed off.
