Moro and Morito chef proprietors, Sam & Sam Clark, opened their third restaurant, located at 195 Hackney Road in 2016.

Morito Hackney Road's Head Chef, Sevan Tchivitdji, draws influences from Southern Spain, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Morito has a concise offering of wines from the Mediterranean - primarily mainland Spain and Portugal - with a couple of lesser-known wines from the Canary Islands. There is a selection of sparkling, white, red, pink, and orange wines, with many available by the glass. For those looking to venture past these, there is also a list of Sherry and Vermouth.

                                      I visited the restaurant for my birthday and had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and service was great. I would really recommend the restaurant for an intimate dinner.

                                      Great place to go with a big group! Lovely wines and cocktails - house wine delicious and affordable. Amazing food and servers - the labneh, aubergine and lamb chops in particular were 10/10 but everything we had was fabulous. The olive oil chocolate mousse was also the perfect if you have any room left :)

                                      There was a lot that they had run out of and the replacement was not good value. V disappointing cocktails- they couldn't do standard ones and choice limited. Food was tasty but overall didn't think good value for money. Unlikely to go for a meal again, maybe pop in for a plate of labneh and a glass of wine.

                                      The food was incredible. So much flavor and reasonably priced. The cod melted in my mouth and the lamb chops were beautifully cooked. Our waitress Sarah was really nice and attentive. She suggested some really nice sherry for us to try and we weren't disappointed. My girlfriend and I will definitely be coming back.

                                      Went on Valentine’s Day and was truly disapointed. Hard to do tapas poorly but somehow they managed. Patatas bravados were flavorless, very dry sausage, very tough crispy pork belly. Even the bread was poor - came out cold without any kind of seasoning / butter. The hummus was good - but really clutching if the hummus was the highlight. If you want tapas / small plates - go to la farola in Islington instead.
