They sat us by the outside door, which was cold and breezy the entire night. My party was freezing the entire night. Several alternative tables were available and they refused to move us. We love this restaurant and last night was one of the worst service experiences I've ever witnessed. Maybe they were overbooked. Waiter was obnoxious. Waiter blamed all the other departments for the slow service. Not appropriate at all. Won't go back until I hear from the restaurant Manager.

Food was really pretty good. Short ribs were awesome but the service was pretty bad. Server forgot things, brought mains out in stages that caused some folks food to get cold waiting until all 6 people got their entre

We were seated outside near the fireplace on a clear, cool evening. We were offered other seats should we not find it comfortable, but we were happy with this situation. A staff member showed up promptly to fill our water glasses, one of which was not very clean, so we pointed that out. When our waiter came around he took our order for California sparkling wines by the glass - one of which he got wrong and had to return with the correct wine. He then opened the bottle of 20-year-old red wine we had brought to the restaurant ($45corkage fee). He struggled, broke the cork, and then roughly decanted the bottle. To start with food we ordered crab cake and enjoyed it and beef carpaccio which was extremely thin and rather low on flavour, although the accompaniments were very good. The main courses were braised short rib on cheesy mashed potatoes and rare Ahi Tuna with braided fennel. Both were delicious. The cutlery looks lovely but is awkward to hold and the steak knives are dull. I didn't pay much attention to the wine list although it is certainly heavily weighted to young California. Overall, the vibe of this restaurant is unique and lovely. The food is very good but no bargain. The service is friendly but not as professional and accurate as it should be.

We waited for our food for well over an hour. Wait staff disappeared and we had to flag someone else to find out when our dinner was going to come out. Very disappointing!

Morgan’s has some of the best food in the desert and that continued with our visit this time. The service this time was extremely slow. Previously service has been slow before, but this time it was very slow. 20+ minutes to get a glass of wine. Another 20 minutes to receive our food. The resort was surprised by a big increase in booking with folks escaping the LA fires. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed. Bottom line, we will think carefully about going back.

Just okay, they seemed understaffed, we had to wait 5 min after our food came from utensils my husband ended up going to get them. Steak was severely under seasoned, they might’ve forgotten to use salt. If you want a good ribeye cooked properly medium rare, there are definitely other spots Mashed potatoes were good.
