I went solo and it was amazing. If you go with someone else or go in a group, use it as an opportunity to try every dish they have to offer because everything on the menu is packed with flavor and just well-executed. Drink whatever wine Jesse tells you to drink. I know I'm biased because I've been eating Chef Dooley's food for 10+ years going back to his time running the kitchen at Craigie on Main. He has never lost a step, and there's a reason all of his ventures have been so successful. You won't be disappointed and you'll keep coming back.

Exceptional menu and presentation, with each dish more of a surprise. Attentive service and pacing. Four of us ate 6.5 courses over two and a half hours at a leisurely pace.

Overall a wonderful experience. The flavor profiles of each dish were creative and had a lot of depth. It was one of the more exciting set menus I’ve had where each dish seamlessly made your palate happy and quite honestly left you wanting extras of each dish .

We had such a lovely meal! The food was creative and delicious, and all of the wine pairings worked well. The staff is also extremely attentive.

Definitely not worth the money. Our party of 4 ordered the tasting menu and 3 of us did the wine pairing. The 3 starters were excellent, but the rest of the food was downhill from there and was extremely mediocre. Props to the sommelier and wait staff; the pairings were excellent given the food and the wait staff was lovely and very attentive. It’a almost as if this place wanted to do a more casual Eleven Madison Park with seafood, but missed out on the fact they’d have to serve food that justified the price.

We were skeptical about the prix fixe format but we loved our experience at Mooncusser. The wine pairings were very, very good.

Drink in the bar downstairs then pre-fixe dinner upstairs. 3 apps were superb, especially the 2 fish apps. 2 mains were very good, but a step down from apps. Tapioca was fantastic, but main desserts were just ok (plantains dessert without the plantains was a 10, but plantains were mush & tasted burnt). Only other comment: spice/heat in all 5 food courses was pronounced; we should have had some warning. And spice heat overwhelmed skate dinner main. Still, a very good experience in a nice setting.
