Montecatini fue inaugurado el 17 de octubre de 1989, el día del terremoto de Loma Prieta en California. Desde entonces, el Montecatini Ristorante ofrece una verdadera experiencia culinaria italiana en Walnut Creek, California. Todos los platillos se preparan meticulosamente con los mejores y más frescos ingredientes. Las pastas y platillos principales se sirven calientes y van directamente de la cocina a la mesa. El Montecatini ha recibido el premio "Best of East Bay 2016" de la revista Diablo Magazine por ser el mejor restaurante italiano de la zona de East Bay de San Francisco. Caesar Salad was excellent. I had the gnocchi and it is hand made here. Wow you can tell. It melts in your mouth. Never had been here before. I think I have found a little treasure in Walnut Creek. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. Service was excellent too! Raya? It was a new name for me but she was so nice and prompt. Thank you for a nice evening!

I’ve been to this restaurant about 5 times now. Every time I bring in another group to try your restaurant they are in awe how fabulous the meal is. Everyone I’ve brought so far was their first time and they ALL loved it. You have a bunch of new guests that will bring their friend and in and on. Best, Maxine Ricci

First time at Montecatini and loved it! Every dish we had was amazing, especially the fettuccine alla carbonara! From bread to appetizers to dessert and the extensive wine list, nothing disappointed. Lasagna takes about 30 min if you order (comes w/ béchamel and tomato cream sauce so different style than I’m used to), so get some starters to enjoy like the pancetta wrapped prawns and the carpacchio while you wait. Big portions and good prices. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Felt like home. A place I’d to go back to again and again!

The good: The food was excellent. The bad: We had forgotten just how bad the noise level was, it was rough. The other frustrating thing was they couldn’t fit another table in the restaurant if they tried. It was so jammed, that our friends chair was hit almost every time a waiter tried to squeeze through, and one time he and another patron had to move their chairs to let a lady with a walker get through. Disappointing

Always our go to date night Italian. Service is attentive and personable. Food is excellent and consistent every time. I often get drawn to the specials which never disappoints. The carpaccio is the best I’ve had.
