   Lovely restaurant tucked away in Wallington but the four of us found the staff to be a bit dismissive of dietary needs and also the loud music. We could hardly hear each other and asked for the music to be turned down. It was for about 5 mins then was turned back up. The waiter shrugged when we mentioned this. One person stated they didn’t eat red meat but according to them prosciutto doesn’t count as red meat! The food was overall tasty and good variety (we went for the Chefs selection) but we were all disappointed -pasta barely featured on the menu. The gnocchi we did have was fried, hard and dry. The sardines & calamari were excellent as was the soft cheese surrounded by a delicious fig jam. In regards to the staff, we all felt they behaved as if they were doing us a favour by turning up and we didn’t believe they thought the diners were the most important people to please.

   🌿 A Relaxed, Bike-Friendly Spot with Amazing Food – 100/10! 🚴‍♀️💯 We rode from Ocean Grove to Mona Cicchetti Bar on Saturday, and it was absolutely worth the trip! 🚲✨ The venue is lovely, with a great spot to safely park our bikes 🚴‍♂️🔒. We originally planned to sit inside, but the super friendly staff 🥰 let us move to the grassy, relaxed area 🌳🪑, which made the experience even better. 🍽️ What We Ordered: 🧀 TAGLIERE DI FORMAGGI – A chef’s selection of imported & local cheeses 🥖🫒🧀, great value for money 💰👍. 🍝 POLPETTE DEL MONA – Housemade pork & beef meatballs—absolutely AWESOME! 🔥🤩 🦑 CALAMARI FRITTI – Flash-fried squid 🦑🍋, fresh & delicious! 😋👌 🥖 GNOCCHI FRITTI CAPRA E MIELE – Deep-fried dough balls 🍞🍯 that were so tasty & crispy! 🤤💛 I’ve been here a few times now, and the service, food & drinks NEVER disappoint! 🍷🍹😍 The whole venue has a relaxed, nature-inspired vibe 🌿✨, making it the perfect spot to catch up with family, friends, or even for a casual date 💑💬 while enjoying some delicious snacks! 🍽️💕 🔥 100/10—HIGHLY recommend! 🤩⭐ Can’t wait to come back! 🚀

   Such a beautiful place and space. The ambience is incredible. Mona has character, style, and an all round great vibe. The atmosphere is so very welcoming. Exceptional, appetising meals with great menu choices at affordable prices. Staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. One of our favourite places to visit!

   A great variety of menu selections. Beautiful evening to be seated outside and heaters provided when needed. Terrific service providing a casual & relaxed ambience

   What an amazing spot. We were camping nearby and spotted this little restaurant on the way to the beach. The food was perfect - you can tell their menu is based around things they truly love to cook and they do it incredibly well. As far as the drinks go - we only had cocktails, and can only rate them a 10/10... there is no laziness here - they care about the drinks as much as they do their menu.

    Really grateful for the gluten free options. The food was exceptional. Overall a very nice place with great service and I’d definitely go back.
