   We had 2pm reservations for a Saturday late lunch ( 2 adults and a toddler) and were seated promptly. The place wasn’t very busy when we got there but a reservation always helps! The location is great and the floor length windows allow you to enjoy the view of the bustling energy of Santana Row during your meal. We ordered the chicken karaage (yummy and great quantity ), sticky ribs (soft,sticky and falling off the bones - must try), chasu baos- family favorite, for starters. My husband got the spicy kakuni ramen and I got the dan-dan. We were so full after the starters we progressed very slowly through our ramens and couldn’t do them justice. My husband found his full of subtle flavors but lacking in seasoning as per his palate. I was quite happy with my dan-dan though it’s not quite what I call spicy and some of the accompaniments are cold so when you mix it all together the temperature of the dish, which I prefer to be hot becomes oddly lukewarm. So maybe I’ll just get a ramen with a broth next time. I got the junmai ginjo ( not very sweet)sake and my husband got the spiced car cocktail - we both enjoyed our drinks. Parking at Hatton PG was very convenient, just a 3 mins walk from the restaurant and 1st 2 hrs were free so we didn’t get charged. Service was prompt and we will surely be back with friends.

   Really tasty food in the heart of San Jose. Definitely going back to try some of the other items on their menu.

   One of my favorite spots to meet a friend for a quick weekday lunch, at least it use to be. I've been here many times, occasionally a couple days in a row. The food is still delicious: ramen delightfully chewy with rich broth, crispy duck tacos pricey but scrumptious, and the brussel sprouts a delicious healthy balance. But, what happened to the former staff? Service during all my dines before this past Mon., Jan. 13, 2025 was fantastic, warm, friendly, efficient, and professional. The staff appeared to work together as a cohesive team to make certain all aspects, from keeping water glasses and teapots filled to discreetly clearing empty plates, was done even if it "wasn't their table." This time, only the new "manager" appeared to be taking orders. The other all-new employees only delivered our dishes with inconsistency: the young man who brought us our ramen and appetizers was smiling and kind, but the young woman who brought us our tea and never refilled our water glasses was surly and definitely did not understand a simple request for a new teacup. We asked the manager for our check several times, ended up waiting over 15+ minutes for it! On our way out, I spotted my favorite staff person , Angel, in the back. If I had known of the staff-change and that Angel was still there, I would have asked to be seated at her tables. I hope Corporate Momosan realizes its people are a huge part of the formerly-excellent dining experience and brings back the staff who care to give the professional-level service this restaurant should provide.

   I have been here many times and will probably give them another chance but if this was my first visit it would be my last. Firstly, it was so cold we almost walked out immediately! It was 61 degrees inside and the door was open. The hostess said she was ordered to leave it open to attract business. Other diners waked out. Our waiter was great but we ordered edamame as we sat down and dint receive it until other courses were complete, Bao was good and Brussel sprouts as well. Duck fat fries with truffled salt and truffle catsup was horrid only because it was without truffle anywhere and the waiter agreed that it has no taste. Spicy tuna tacos were fine (hard to mess this up), fish carpaccio was fine, gyukosu was mediocre at best, certainly not a $30 dish we had on prior visits. I will be back once more (but I will postpone until warmer days) and give them a last chance We enjoy Morimoto Napa and Las Vegas often and never been disappointed but this Momosan visit was a disaster meal

   Very disappointing restaurant. We were excited to try a new place, especially being a fan of chef Morimoto, but that was a disaster. Poor service with staff that just doesn't care and doesn't see a problem serving your appetizer after serving the main dish, never coming for water etc... Uncomfortable sitting, no or very limited heating ensuring you don't want to stay long, very noisy. The food was so so and not made correctly (tsukemen noodles are supposed to be cold for example but they were hot). All in all that experience was horrible and overpriced for what we got, especially after they added a mandatory 4% service charge on top of the bill... Never returning to that place.

   I was looking forward their menu, but have of the appetizers were not available. Service was terrible. Ramen was not even close to the best I have had. I have been to Morimoto’s in Orlando, Vegas, and Napa, this is by far the worst. No line out front and now I know why!

   Great service from the hostess and waiter. Very busy night and we had 2 extra guests joining our party at the last minute. The hostess graciously seated us at the largest table available so we could squeeze everyone in together.

    I’ve been to this location twice now, first with my husband and this time with a group of friends. I had a nice experience with both visits. Everything my groups ordered both times was delicious. The first time I had a very attentive waitress, we went during lunch time and it wasn’t too busy, she made recommendations and checked in often. The second time we had a pretty new waiter, he didn’t know that there was happy hour when we arrived and the discount ended up not being added to our bill, he also didn’t check in often and we ended up having someone else (maybe the bartender) helping us more. Overall both experiences were nice and I will be back. One thing for diners to be aware of is that the seats are all bench style without a back, they may have seats with backs they can bring out but if anyone needs the extra support this might not be a great dining experience for them.
