Dipped in the Japanese arts and architecture, the Mizu Izakaya and Sushi restaurant offers an authentic experience of Japanese culture. The restaurant offers contemporary Japanese dining and a comfortable, young and hip atmosphere. The food is served hot and its assortment of dishes are popular among the locals and are nicely complimented by innovative drinks.

Mizu Izakaya and Sushi restaurant, despite being a Sushi place, has a diverse menu and it offers a variety of Japanese dishes. Some of the dishes include King Mushroom Carpaccio, Grilled Whole Squid, Grilled Lamb Chop and Brussels Sprouts. Food was good, although consistent with my last visit unfortunately. Service was terrible. Our waitress did not check on us. We had to ask to order and when we were able to order she gave us an attitude like we were bothering her. My husband said “she ruined the experience”. We were dining for his birthday.

Mostly pretty good! Not sure if it was a special event, but the DJ was super loud even outside and the music was not very izakaya vibes. Food was great but the chocolate lava cake was pretty chalky

My wife and I came down from the Genesee area to experience a different dining experience from the Evergreen/Golden feel we are used to. The service was on point with our waiter greeting us within a minute or so of being seated. He checked back frequently throughout our experience. The gyoza dumplings were cooked to a crispy delicious perfection. The sushi was fresh and amazing. We also enjoyed the lively atmosphere and people watching. We shall return!

As always - food was delicious. The friends we bring continue to love it. Fried oysters, wontons in chili, Gyoza, lobster dumplings & the fried rice! Followed up with great cocktails

This was a disappointing visit which is unfortunate as my first visit here was great. We ordered the albacore based on the waitress recommendation and it was super fishy. Like gross. The rest was fine but that sort of ruined it.
